Grow the Roses is looking for a visionary Interface Designer to join our expanding creative team. In this role, you will be the bridge between complex functionality and effortless user interaction, transforming high-level concepts into beautiful, intuitive digital interfaces. We are looking for someone who doesn't just design for aesthetics but understands the psychological and behavioral patterns that drive user engagement. As an integral part of our product development lifecycle, you will collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure our brand identity is flawlessly executed across every pixel, helping us set new standards for excellence in our industry.
Key Responsibilities- Conceptualize and design high-fidelity user interfaces for web and mobile platforms that are both visually captivating and highly functional.
- Partner closely with UX designers to translate wireframes and user flows into polished, interactive prototypes and final assets.
- Champion the development and maintenance of a robust design system to ensure visual consistency and scalability across all digital products.
- Liaise with front-end developers to ensure design specifications are technically feasible and implemented with high precision.
- Participate in user research and usability testing sessions, using data-driven insights to iterate on designs and improve the overall user experience.
- Advocate for accessibility and inclusivity by ensuring all interface elements meet WCAG standards and provide an equitable experience for all users.
- Stay at the forefront of the design industry by researching emerging trends, tools, and methodologies to keep our product suite modern and competitive.
- Minimum of 3 to 5 years of professional experience as an Interface Designer, UI Designer, or in a similar creative role within a digital product environment.
- Expert-level proficiency in Figma is required; additional experience with Sketch, Adobe Creative Suite, or Framer is highly desirable.
- A portfolio demonstrating a sophisticated aesthetic sense, masterful use of typography, and a deep understanding of visual hierarchy.
- Extensive experience in responsive design and a mobile-first approach, ensuring seamless performance across various devices and screen sizes.
- Solid understanding of UI/UX principles, including grid systems, color theory, and interaction design patterns.
- Exceptional communication skills with the ability to articulate design decisions and rationale to both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
- Foundational knowledge of HTML and CSS is a significant plus, as it facilitates smoother collaboration with our engineering teams.
