About the Role

Chime is looking for a visionary Insights Analyst to join our Trust & Safety Pillar, a critical team dedicated to maintaining the highest standards of platform integrity. In this role, you will be at the forefront of protecting our members by transforming vast datasets into strategic intelligence that shapes Dispute Operations, Fraud prevention, and Product Management. You will act as a bridge between technical data signals and high-level business outcomes, ensuring that Chime remains a resilient and trusted financial partner for millions of users. As a key contributor to our Operations Management Excellence (OMX) team, your work will directly reduce financial losses and prevent platform abuse through data-driven innovation.

In this highly visible position, you will partner closely with diverse stakeholders across Fraud Ops, Dispute Ops, Risk, and Engineering to diagnose emerging risks and quantify their operational impact. We are looking for a strategic thinker who can move beyond simple reporting to develop deep root-cause narratives and predictive frameworks. The ideal candidate possesses a unique blend of analytical rigor and communication prowess, with the ability to influence senior leadership and drive cross-functional alignment in a fast-paced, evolving fintech environment.

Key Responsibilities
  • Perform deep-dive analytics and root-cause identification to translate complex data signals into actionable operational and product recommendations.
  • Define and refine success metrics, key performance indicators (KPIs), and comprehensive monitoring frameworks for the Dispute and Fraud Operations teams.
  • Build and deploy predictive analytics mechanisms to identify emerging fraud trends, performance shifts, and anomalies before they impact the platform.
  • Develop enhanced metric frameworks that provide transparency into automation effectiveness and manual decision accuracy.
  • Collaborate with Product and Engineering teams to influence the roadmap for risk mitigation tools and member-facing dispute experiences.
  • Craft compelling data narratives and strategic reports for senior leadership, providing clarity on operational health and areas for optimization.
  • Drive analytical consistency across the Trust & Safety pillar by establishing best practices for data modeling and performance tracking.

Qualifications
  • Proven experience in a high-impact analytical role, preferably within Trust & Safety, Fraud Operations, or Risk Management in the fintech or banking sector.
  • Expertise in SQL and data visualization tools such as Looker, Tableau, or similar platforms to communicate insights effectively.
  • Strong proficiency in statistical analysis and the ability to work with large, unstructured datasets to extract meaningful trends.
  • Excellent communication skills with a demonstrated ability to translate technical findings into strategic recommendations for non-technical stakeholders.
  • Strategic mindset with the ability to proactively identify process gaps and implement scalable analytical solutions.
  • Experience working in a cross-functional environment, coordinating between product, engineering, and operations teams to achieve shared goals.
  • Degree in a quantitative field such as Statistics, Economics, Computer Science, Mathematics, or equivalent professional experience.

Benefits
  • Competitive base salary ranging from $138,000.00 to $190,000.00, depending on location, skills, and experience.
  • Eligibility for a comprehensive annual performance bonus program.
  • Competitive equity package, allowing you to share in the long-term success of the company.
  • Robust health, dental, and vision insurance plans designed to support your total well-being.
  • Flexible work environment with a focus on work-life balance and remote-first collaboration.
  • Professional development opportunities and a culture that encourages continuous learning and career growth.
