About the Role
Seasoned Recruitment is seeking a dynamic and hands-on Human Resources Generalist Manager to lead our people operations during an exciting phase of organizational growth. As a key strategic partner, you will own the full employee lifecycle end-to-end, working closely with leadership to build scalable HR processes and cultivate a premier staff experience across our remote-first workforce.
The ideal candidate is a proactive problem-solver who thrives in high-growth environments and possesses a deep understanding of multi-state compliance. You will serve as the primary HR resource for our team, balancing technical execution in payroll and compliance with the creative aspects of talent acquisition and employee engagement. Key Responsibilities- Compliance & Payroll Management: Oversee multi-state employment law compliance with a specific focus on California and Arizona regulations; manage full-cycle payroll processing within the Rippling HRIS platform and maintain audit-ready personnel records.
- Talent Acquisition & Onboarding: Drive the end-to-end recruitment process, including crafting compelling job descriptions, sourcing top-tier talent, conducting interviews, and designing a seamless onboarding experience for new hires.
- Employee Experience & Culture: Administer comprehensive benefits programs, design impactful employee engagement initiatives, and support internal professional development pathways to foster a high-performance culture.
- Strategic Partnership: Act as a trusted advisor to management, providing expert coaching on performance management, conflict resolution, and the implementation of equitable company policies.
- HR Operations: Continuously evaluate and improve HR workflows to ensure scalability and efficiency as the organization expands its footprint in the healthcare and regulated industry sectors.
- Professional Experience: 3-5 years of progressive Human Resources experience, including at least 2 years in a generalist capacity owning multiple core HR functions.
- Legal Expertise: Required mastery of California and Arizona state employment laws and labor regulations.
- Technical Proficiency: Prior experience utilizing Rippling HRIS is highly desired; comfort navigating modern HR technology stacks is essential.
- Industry Background: Experience working within high-growth startups, healthcare, or other highly regulated industries is strongly preferred.
- Education & Certification: Bachelor’s degree or equivalent professional experience; HR certifications such as PHR or SHRM-CP are considered a significant advantage.
- Communication Skills: Exceptional verbal and written communication abilities with a proven track record of handling confidential information with absolute discretion.
- Work Schedule: Must be available for full-time work aligned with Pacific Time Zone (PT) business hours.
- Competitive Compensation: Annual salary ranging from $65,000 to $75,000 based on experience and qualifications.
