About the Role
We are seeking a highly motivated and skilled DevOps Engineer to join our international digital engineering team. In this role, you will play a pivotal part in supporting large-scale initiatives by developing, maintaining, and optimizing the infrastructure that powers our modern software applications. You will be integrated into a dynamic environment that leverages Scaled Agile (SAFe) methodologies to drive digital transformation on a global scale. As a core member of our engineering group, you will bridge the gap between development and operations, ensuring that our software delivery process remains fast, reliable, and scalable across web, cloud, and embedded platforms.
Key ResponsibilitiesAs a DevOps Engineer, your primary focus will be on the continuous improvement of our deployment ecosystem. You will be responsible for developing and enhancing automated CI/CD pipelines to ensure software is delivered with maximum efficiency and minimal downtime. This involves managing complex build and release processes across diverse environments, including desktop, mobile, and cloud-native platforms. You will work closely with developers, QA engineers, and infrastructure architects to ensure seamless system integration and resolve any deployment bottlenecks.
Your expertise will be vital in the selection and integration of modern DevOps tools, ranging from source control management to automated testing frameworks. You will also lead the charge in containerization and versioning strategies, ensuring that both internal and external software releases are packaged securely and consistently. Beyond technical implementation, you will be an active participant in agile ceremonies, including sprint planning and backlog refinement, to ensure that our DevOps roadmap is perfectly aligned with our product delivery goals. By identifying areas for automation, you will help reduce manual overhead and foster a culture of operational excellence.
QualificationsWe are looking for candidates who possess a strong technical foundation and a passion for automation. To be successful in this role, you should meet the following requirements:
- A Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a closely related technical field.
- At least 2 years of professional experience in a DevOps, Site Reliability Engineering (SRE), or Systems Engineering role.
- Demonstrated hands-on experience with industry-standard tools such as Git, Jenkins, Docker, and Ansible.
- Proficiency in managing environments within TFS or Azure DevOps.
- Advanced scripting capabilities using languages such as PowerShell, Python, or Bash to automate repetitive tasks.
- A solid understanding of both Windows and Linux operating systems, as well as fundamental networking concepts.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and a meticulous approach to maintaining high-availability systems.
- Strong communication skills, with the ability to translate complex technical concepts for non-technical stakeholders.
In addition to the core requirements, candidates with experience in modern frameworks like .NET Core, React, or Angular will be highly regarded. Preference will also be given to those who have worked with container orchestration (Kubernetes), AI-assisted coding tools like GitHub Copilot, or multi-platform development using Xamarin and TypeScript. Familiarity with the SAFe framework or large-scale enterprise application support is a significant plus.
