About the Role
Housecall Pro is seeking a visionary Senior Product Operations Manager I to spearhead our Partnerships strategy and act as the strategic bridge between our high-value franchise partners and our internal product roadmap. In this role, you will be deeply immersed in the home service industry, identifying product opportunities that empower Pros to scale their businesses and reclaim their time. You are not just managing tasks; you are a trusted advisor to both external stakeholders and internal leadership, translating complex business requirements into actionable product strategies that drive long-term growth and innovation.
Key ResponsibilitiesAs the primary owner of our Partnership Strategy, you will define and drive the framework for engaging with franchise and enterprise partners. Your daily impact involves building models to evaluate partner requirements, assessing business impact, and prioritizing investments that align with Housecall Pro’s long-term vision. You will develop key metrics to measure partnership health and delivery effectiveness, ensuring our most strategic accounts receive best-in-class support.
- Strategic Product Influence: Conduct deep market research on franchise and supplier models to identify untapped product opportunities. You will perform competitive analyses and synthesize partner feedback into strategic recommendations that shape our product roadmap.
- Executive Partner Engagement: Serve as the senior technical point of contact for strategic partners, leading discovery sessions to understand business requirements and operational challenges. You will present product roadmaps and integration capabilities to partner executives, managing high-level relationships and complex technical escalations.
- Cross-Functional Execution: Orchestrate collaboration across Engineering, Product, Legal, and Business Development teams to deliver seamless partner solutions. You will manage complex API integrations and technical implementations, ensuring clear communication and handoffs throughout the project lifecycle.
- Operational Excellence: Build and scale the partnerships function by creating SOPs, playbooks, and communication protocols. You will identify opportunities to leverage AI tooling and automation to improve efficiency while mentoring team members to elevate our overall partnership capabilities.
We are looking for a strategic thinker with a proven track record of managing complex technical environments and high-stakes stakeholder relationships. The ideal candidate possesses a blend of technical acumen and business strategy, with the ability to influence others without formal authority.
- Professional Experience: At least 5 years of experience in technical account management, product operations, product management, or strategy consulting, with at least 1 year dedicated to leading or mentoring others.
- Technical Proficiency: Deep understanding of SaaS business models, enterprise software integrations, and APIs. Experience with product management tools such as Jira Product Discovery and Confluence is highly preferred.
- Strategic Mindset: Proven ability to conduct market research and translate qualitative and quantitative data into actionable insights and product requirements.
- Communication Skills: Exceptional ability to present complex technical concepts to executive-level audiences, both internally and externally.
- Project Management: Demonstrated success in managing multi-stakeholder projects from initial requirements gathering through to final delivery.
- Adaptability: Comfort with ambiguity and a willingness to travel (approximately 15-20% annually) to support partner relationships and growth objectives.
