Key Responsibilities

The core of this role involves executing a high volume of orders with precision and speed. You will be expected to master various stations within the kitchen, ensuring that all food products are prepared according to our specific recipes and presentation guidelines.

  • Prepare a wide variety of menu items, including our world-famous wings, following exact specifications to ensure consistency across every plate.
  • Maintain a clean, organized, and sanitized workstation at all times, adhering to all local health department regulations and internal safety standards.
  • Coordinate closely with Front of House staff to ensure timely delivery of orders and to address any special dietary requests or modifications efficiently.
  • Monitor inventory levels and food waste, assisting in the receiving of deliveries and ensuring that all ingredients are stored at the correct temperatures.
  • Operate commercial kitchen equipment safely and perform routine cleaning and maintenance to ensure operational longevity.
  • Participate in pre-shift meetings to stay informed about daily specials, promotions, and performance goals for the culinary team.
  • Contribute to a positive team culture by assisting colleagues during peak hours and maintaining a professional demeanor under pressure.

Qualifications

We are looking for individuals who are not only skilled in the kitchen but also demonstrate a strong work ethic and a desire to learn. The ideal candidate will have a foundational understanding of food service and a passion for the industry.

  • Previous experience in a high-volume kitchen or fast-casual dining environment is highly preferred but not required for candidates with a strong drive.
  • Excellent communication skills and the ability to work effectively as part of a diverse team in a fast-paced environment.
  • Strong organizational skills and the ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously without compromising quality or safety.
  • A valid food handler’s permit or the ability to obtain one shortly after hire to ensure compliance with safety regulations.
  • Flexibility to work various shifts, including evenings, weekends, and holidays, to support the needs of a busy sports bar and restaurant.
  • Physical stamina to stand for long periods and the ability to lift up to 50 pounds when handling inventory or equipment.
  • A proactive mindset with a focus on continuous improvement and a commitment to delivering a world-class guest experience.
