We are currently expanding our global team of passionate educators to deliver premium 1:1 online tutoring to K-12 learners across the United Kingdom, Australia, and beyond. As an Online Tutor, you will go beyond traditional instruction to become a mentor who builds confidence, simplifies complex concepts, and inspires a genuine love for subjects ranging from STEM and Humanities to Coding and Chess. This is a 100% remote opportunity designed for subject-matter experts who thrive in a digital-first classroom environment.
Key ResponsibilitiesAs a core member of our instructional team, your primary objective is to deliver personalized learning experiences that drive student success. Your daily responsibilities will include:
- Conducting engaging, live 1:1 tutoring sessions via our interactive online platform, tailoring your approach to each student's unique pace and cognitive style.
- Breaking down fundamental and advanced concepts into relatable, clear explanations that ensure students grasp core principles.
- Preparing students for critical academic milestones and competitive assessments, including GCSE, IGCSE, 11+, NAPLAN, ICAS, and Selective Entrance Tests.
- Developing and assigning targeted practice materials while tracking individual progress through detailed performance metrics.
- Collaborating closely with parents by providing regular qualitative feedback and updates on student readiness.
- Participating in ongoing professional development sessions and curriculum workshops to maintain the highest standards of pedagogical excellence.
We are looking for articulate professionals who possess a deep mastery of their subject and a commitment to student growth. To be successful in this role, you should meet the following criteria:
- A Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in a relevant field such as Mathematics, English Literature, Computer Science, Science, or Modern Languages.
- Exceptional verbal and written English communication skills, with the ability to explain complex theories in a patient and accessible manner.
- Demonstrated expertise in your chosen subject area, with the ability to teach at an age-appropriate or exam-focused level.
- A reliable remote work environment, including a high-performance laptop or desktop, professional-grade webcam/microphone, and a stable internet connection (minimum 10 Mbps).
- Prior experience in EdTech tutoring, traditional classroom teaching, or competitive exam preparation is highly preferred.
- A proven track record of improving student academic outcomes and a familiarity with K-12 curriculum design.
- Availability to commit to a minimum of 100 hours per month, aligned with either UK or Australian time zones.
