Mercor is looking for a highly skilled and detail-oriented Artifact Expert specializing in PowerPoint to join our global network of elite talent. In this role, you will play a critical part in bridging the gap between raw technical data and compelling visual narratives, working closely with leading AI research labs to elevate their communication materials. As a specialist, you will be responsible for transforming legacy content into sophisticated, modern presentations that reflect the cutting-edge nature of the organizations we serve. Your primary focus will be the meticulous conversion of legacy decks into polished, high-fidelity PowerPoint presentations that meet modern corporate and scientific standards. This involves far more than just a visual refresh; you will be tasked with faithfully reproducing intricate layouts, complex charts, smart objects, and embedded graphics to ensure total accuracy and visual continuity. You will apply consistent slide masters and themes while adhering strictly to corporate branding guidelines to maintain a unified aesthetic across all deliverables. Beyond technical formatting, you are expected to annotate and refine slides to improve their overall narrative flow and clarity, ensuring that every visual element serves a purpose in the broader communication strategy. You will work independently on a flexible schedule, managing multiple high-priority projects while maintaining the highest level of quality and precision in every slide produced.

The ideal candidate possesses expert-level proficiency in Microsoft PowerPoint, with a deep understanding of advanced features including complex animations, transitions, slide master management, and the creation of custom themes and smart objects. You must have a strong aesthetic sense and a comprehensive understanding of corporate deck conventions, knowing how to balance information density with visual appeal. Exceptional attention to detail is non-negotiable, as is a high degree of fluency in written English to ensure all slide content is professional and error-free. Because this is a remote, contract-based role, you must be self-directed, reliable, and capable of delivering top-tier work under tight deadlines. This position offers a competitive compensation range of $60 to $90 per hour, reflecting the high level of expertise and technical precision required for the role.
