As a Product Manager at Granicus, you will work at the intersection of design, engineering, and data analysis to define the future of our product suite. You will be responsible for aligning cross-functional teams behind the most impactful projects, driving growth in key performance metrics, and ensuring an exceptional user experience for both government officials and the public. Key Responsibilities- Define and manage the long-term product vision, translating complex strategic goals into actionable development plans.
- Develop and execute specific product features from initial ideation through to final implementation and market launch.
- Prioritize product deliverables against competing high-value features, demonstrating a clear understanding of trade-offs and business impact.
- Utilize data-driven insights to determine the appropriate scope and timing for product releases.
- Facilitate ideation sessions through internal brainstorming, user outreach, and rigorous analysis of feedback and competitive landscapes.
- Build a shared vision across the organization by fostering consensus on priorities among senior executives and stakeholders.
- Support world-class engineering, design, and data teams throughout the entire software development lifecycle.
- Define, analyze, and report on key performance indicators (KPIs) to measure the success of feature launches and experiments.
- Serve as the voice of the customer by engaging with users and implementation teams to productize specific customer needs.
- Mentor other product team members and contribute to the continuous improvement of product management best practices.
- Maintain high standards for information security and data privacy in accordance with global compliance programs.
- At least 4 years of experience in Product Management or a related field guiding the development of complex technology products.
- Proven expertise in using product management tools such as JIRA and Aha!
- Demonstrated ability to build quantitative business cases and financial models to support product decisions.
- Experience working within an Agile environment and delivering high-quality products in a fast-paced setting.
- Strong technical depth that allows you to earn the respect of engineers and understand complex architectural requirements.
- Excellent organizational and quantitative analytical skills, with a focus on data-driven decision-making.
- Superior communication and presentation skills, with the ability to influence senior executives and technical stakeholders alike.
- Familiarity with the public sector or government technology is highly preferred but not required.
