Key Responsibilities

• Cleanse, preprocess, and validate the integrity of data used for analysis to ensure high-quality modeling outcomes.
• Develop and implement basic machine learning models and statistical algorithms to identify patterns and trends within complex datasets.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to understand business requirements and translate them into technical data solutions.
• Perform exploratory data analysis (EDA) to uncover hidden insights and communicate findings through compelling data visualizations.
• Assist in the maintenance and optimization of existing data pipelines and automated reporting dashboards.
• Document all code, methodologies, and technical processes to ensure scalability and transparency within the data science department.
• Stay current with industry trends and emerging technologies in artificial intelligence and big data to propose innovative solutions.

Qualifications

• Recent graduate with a Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Data Science, Statistics, Computer Science, Mathematics, or a related quantitative field.
• Strong foundational knowledge of Python or R, specifically for data manipulation and statistical modeling.
• Experience with SQL for querying relational databases and extracting relevant information.
• Familiarity with data visualization tools such as Tableau, Power BI, or Matplotlib/Seaborn.
• Basic understanding of machine learning frameworks like Scikit-Learn, TensorFlow, or PyTorch.
• Excellent analytical thinking and problem-solving skills with a high attention to detail.
• Strong communication skills, with the ability to explain technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders.
