About the Role

Dana Incorporated is seeking a detail-oriented and proactive individual to join our team as a Remote General Production Support Specialist. As a world leader in providing energy-efficient solutions for the global mobility market, Dana relies on data-driven production strategies to maintain its competitive edge in the drivetrain and e-propulsion sectors. In this remote-based role, you will be instrumental in bridging the gap between digital oversight and physical manufacturing processes, ensuring that workflows remain consistent across our global facilities. You will work closely with plant managers and logistics teams to monitor output, manage critical production data, and ensure that our operational standards are upheld with the highest degree of accuracy. This position offers a unique opportunity to contribute to the future of automotive technology from a flexible remote setting, requiring a candidate who is self-motivated, technically proficient, and capable of managing complex logistics without the need for constant on-site supervision.

Key Responsibilities
  • Monitor and analyze real-time production data from various manufacturing sites to ensure strict adherence to established schedules and delivery deadlines.
  • Coordinate with on-site floor managers to identify potential bottlenecks and provide data-driven recommendations to maintain workflow efficiency.
  • Maintain and update Electronic Resource Planning (ERP) systems with accurate production counts, materials usage, and labor hours for reporting purposes.
  • Conduct remote quality assurance audits by reviewing production logs and compliance documentation against industry and company standards.
  • Generate detailed daily and weekly reports for senior leadership regarding production KPIs, equipment uptime, and resource allocation.
  • Facilitate seamless communication between the supply chain, procurement, and manufacturing departments to ensure raw material availability aligns with production needs.
  • Assist in the implementation of Lean Manufacturing principles and continuous improvement initiatives across digital and physical workflows.
  • Ensure all remote administrative tasks related to production safety, environmental compliance, and regulatory standards are completed and archived correctly.

Qualifications
  • Possession of a high school diploma or equivalent; an Associates degree in Industrial Management, Logistics, or a related field is strongly preferred.
  • Minimum of 1 to 2 years of experience in a manufacturing, production support, or logistics coordination environment.
  • Strong proficiency in utilizing SAP, Oracle, or similar Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) software for industrial applications.
  • Advanced knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite, particularly Excel, with the ability to perform data analysis and create complex spreadsheets.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to convey technical information clearly to diverse global teams.
  • Proven ability to work independently in a fully remote setting while maintaining high levels of productivity and professional accountability.
  • Familiarity with ISO 9001 or IATF 16949 quality management standards is a significant advantage in this role.
  • Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to adapt to changing priorities in a fast-paced and dynamic industrial environment.

Benefits
  • Competitive compensation package with performance-based incentives and annual reviews.
  • Comprehensive health, dental, and vision insurance plans available to employees from their first day of employment.
  • 401(k) retirement plan with a generous company matching contribution to help secure your financial future.
  • Generous paid time off, including vacation days, personal days, and observed company holidays.
  • Extensive professional development opportunities and tuition reimbursement programs for career growth.
  • Flexible remote work environment with a company-provided laptop and necessary digital collaboration tools.
  • Access to a global network of industry professionals and opportunities for long-term career advancement within Dana.
  • Employee wellness programs focusing on physical health, mental well-being, and work-life balance.

At Dana Incorporated, we are more than just a manufacturing company; we are a community of innovators dedicated to powering the vehicles of the future. By joining our team in this remote production support capacity, you will play a crucial role in shaping the efficiency and sustainability of our global operations. We value diversity, integrity, and a commitment to excellence, providing our employees with the tools they need to succeed in a modern, digital-first work environment.
