Key Responsibilities

As a General Operative, you will be involved in various stages of the production process, maintaining the high standards of quality and safety that ABP is known for. Your daily tasks will include:

• Operating production machinery and equipment safely and efficiently according to standard operating procedures.
• Assisting in the processing, trimming, and packaging of meat products to meet specific customer requirements and quality benchmarks.
• Conducting regular quality checks to ensure all products meet food safety and hygiene regulations.
• Maintaining a clean and organized workspace, adhering to strict Health and Safety and Food Safety protocols at all times.
• Collaborating with supervisors and team members to meet daily production targets and minimize waste.
• Loading and unloading materials or finished goods for distribution as required.
• Reporting any equipment malfunctions or safety hazards immediately to the management team.

Qualifications

While previous experience in a food manufacturing or warehouse environment is an advantage, we provide comprehensive training for candidates who demonstrate the right attitude and a willingness to learn. We are looking for candidates who meet the following criteria:
