About the Role
FTP Agency is seeking high-energy, detail-obsessed Freelance Experiential Producers to join our talent network in New York City, Los Angeles, Miami, and Austin. As a cornerstone of our production team, you will bridge the gap between creative vision and flawless execution, transforming concepts into immersive mobile experiences for the world’s most iconic brands. This is a role for a proactive problem-solver who thrives in fast-paced environments and possesses the 'hustle' required to navigate the complexities of large-scale street activations, campus tours, and luxury pop-ups.
Key ResponsibilitiesIn this role, you will act as the primary lead for project lifecycles, ensuring every activation is delivered on time, within budget, and to the highest standards of excellence. Your responsibilities include:
- Pre-Production & Logistics: Develop comprehensive production timelines, runs of show, and detailed checklists; manage complex permitting processes and compliance requirements across various municipal jurisdictions.
- Financial Oversight: Build and maintain precise production budgets, ensuring all resources are allocated efficiently while maintaining profitability and quality.
- Vendor & Stakeholder Management: Source and manage diverse vendors; act as the central 'quarterback' between internal design, social, and account teams to keep all stakeholders aligned.
- Onsite Operations: Lead onsite execution with a hands-on approach, managing logistics, staff, and unforeseen 'curveballs' to ensure a seamless consumer experience.
- Post-Event Analytics: Oversee the wrap process by collecting key performance metrics, organizing media highlights, and developing insightful recap decks for client presentations.
The ideal candidate is a highly organized communicator who lives in spreadsheets and thrives on the adrenaline of live events. We are looking for:
- Experience: 2–5 years of dedicated experience in experiential marketing, event production, or agency-side project management.
- Technical Skills: Proficiency in Google Workspace and familiarity with project management tools such as Monday.com, HubSpot, or Slack.
- Operational Expertise: Proven ability to own projects from scoping to wrap, including a deep understanding of vendor 'wrangling' and onsite operational safety.
- Communication: Exceptional verbal and written communication skills with the ability to maintain professional relationships with high-profile clients and local vendors.
- Flexibility: A willingness to work non-traditional hours, including early mornings, late nights, and weekends, as dictated by event schedules.
- Bonus Points: Hands-on experience with mobile/vehicle activations (food trucks, step vans, or trailers), including knowledge of vehicle wraps, power generators, DOT basics, and staffing brand ambassadors.
FTP Agency values our freelance partners and offers a competitive package designed to support long-term collaboration, including:
- Competitive Compensation: Hourly rates ranging from $60–$100/hr, or a day rate of $750–$1,000 for onsite management, plus travel and lodging coverage.
- Incentives: Access to weekend work stipends and potential performance-based bonuses.
- Insurance & Savings: Eligibility for medical, dental, and vision insurance, along with 401k matching programs and paid vacation/sick time.
- Professional Growth: Support for professional development and a flexible work-from-home environment during pre-production phases.
