About the Role

BJAK is on a mission to redefine how millions of people plan, save, and grow their money. Since our inception in 2019, we have evolved from the leading mobile-first insurance platform in Southeast Asia into a comprehensive financial ecosystem. As we scale our finance super app to include spending, investing, and global travel, we are seeking high-ownership generalists to join our Founder's Office. This is a high-impact, remote role based in China for builders who thrive in ambiguity and are passionate about disrupting the status quo in the fintech space.

• Drive zero-to-one strategic projects essential to the launch and scaling of BJAK’s finance super app and associated financial products.
• Lead critical market entry initiatives, including securing licenses, navigating complex regulations, and establishing local office operations and hiring pipelines.
• Conduct deep-dive research into competitors, emerging business models, and regional financial regulations to inform executive decision-making.
• Translate high-level visionary concepts from the founders into actionable project plans with clear owners, timelines, and measurable outcomes.
• Collaborate cross-functionally with legal, compliance, product, and finance teams to ensure seamless execution of global expansion strategies.
• Develop and maintain internal trackers, memos, and operational frameworks to streamline execution rhythms across international teams.
• Identify and resolve urgent business bottlenecks, maintaining a hands-on approach to problem-solving until a permanent solution is implemented.

• Proven experience in a high-growth startup, management consulting, fintech, strategy, or a founder-led environment.
• Exceptional business judgment with the ability to turn messy, unstructured inputs into clear, professional execution plans.
• Strong intellectual curiosity and the capacity to master new industries and regulatory landscapes in record time.
• Superior written and verbal English communication skills, capable of producing structured memos and briefing senior leadership.
• A resourceful and resilient mindset, remaining calm and effective under high-pressure, fast-paced conditions.
• A pragmatic approach to work; you value real-world outcomes and operational excellence over corporate titles and prestige.
• Must be currently based in China to support our specific regional growth objectives while working within a global remote framework.
