FINN: Lead Frontend Engineer

About the Role

We are looking for a true Frontend Lead who stays deep in the code but also guides the frontend team. This is a heavily hands-on role (80–90% coding) with light people leadership including 1:1s, code reviews, and technical direction.

• Own the entire frontend codebase using Angular 17+, TypeScript, Ionic/Capacitor, and Firebase.
• Ship native Android and iOS applications via Capacitor.
• Turn Figma designs into responsive, performant, and pixel-perfect UIs.
• Architect reusable components and maintain a clean, scalable codebase.
• Drive performance optimization and maintain testing strategies with Jest and Playwright/Cypress.
• Lead code reviews and mentor the frontend team to maintain high velocity.

• 6+ years of frontend development experience, with at least 3–4 years focused on modern Angular.
• Experience with cross-platform frameworks like Capacitor or Ionic.
• Deep knowledge of TypeScript, RxJS, and state management (NgRx).
• Strong eye for product and design with the ability to implement pixel-perfect UIs.
• Experience in performance optimization (Lighthouse, lazy loading, bundle analysis).
• Fluent English and ability to overlap with UTC+8 (Singapore) working hours.

• Track record of shipping production apps to App Stores.
• Experience with financial services APIs or regulated environments.
• Expertise in Firebase (Auth, Firestore, Cloud Functions).
• Experience with Tailwind, Storybook, or Lottie animations.
