About the Role
Dreamscape Learn is seeking an exceptional Executive Director of K12 Academic Partnerships to spearhead our direct sales efforts across North America. As a category-defining leader in immersive learning, we provide educators with a powerful new medium to engage students by transporting them into VR-enabled cinematic worlds where their choices drive the narrative. In this role, you will be the primary architect of our K12 expansion, turning visionary educational technology into a reality for school districts. We are looking for an entrepreneurial leader who can navigate complex institutional procurement processes while evangelizing a ground-breaking approach to STEM and story-driven education. You will play a pivotal role in establishing Dreamscape Learn as a transformational partner for superintendents and curriculum leaders, ensuring our immersive experiences unlock student motivation on a national scale.
Key Responsibilities- Directly manage and execute the full sales lifecycle to consistently exceed quarterly and annual bookings goals.
- Engage with Superintendents, Chief Academic Officers, and Boards of Education to qualify high-value sales opportunities and position Dreamscape Learn as a strategic solution to modern educational challenges.
- Build and nurture deep, executive-level relationships that transition Dreamscape Learn from a traditional vendor to a long-term transformational partner.
- Develop and manage a robust pipeline of qualified K12 sales opportunities, ensuring consistent market expansion and revenue growth objectives are met.
- Collaborate closely with internal Marketing and Sales teams to design and execute high-impact lead generation campaigns and represent the company at key industry events.
- Partner with executive leadership to refine K12 growth strategies, market positioning, and long-term expansion initiatives that solidify our status as a category leader.
- Synthesize market intelligence and customer feedback to provide strategic insights that inform product development and the evolution of our go-to-market model.
- A minimum of 10 years of sustained success in high-value enterprise sales, specifically selling innovative educational technology to senior K12 leadership.
- Proven track record of evangelizing and closing six-figure, category-creating solutions within complex institutional decision-making and procurement environments.
- Exceptional executive presence with the ability to influence stakeholders and build consensus among diverse district leadership teams.
- Expertise in territory management, opportunity qualification, and strategic account planning.
- An entrepreneurial mindset characterized by the ability to thrive in fast-paced, ambiguous environments and a desire to help build scalable market strategies from the ground up.
- Deep domain expertise in the K12 landscape, including a sophisticated understanding of instructional innovation, digital transformation, and emerging pedagogical models.
- Experience working within high-growth, innovative, or category-defining organizations where agility and excellence are expected.
- Bachelors degree is required for this senior-level leadership position.
- Highly competitive compensation package including a $200,000 base salary plus performance-based commission.
