About the Role

Lantern is a leading specialty care platform dedicated to connecting members with the nation’s top specialists for surgery, cancer care, and infusions. We are looking for a high-energy, operationally-minded Events Manager to own one of our most complex programs: a high-volume portfolio of 200+ open enrollment benefit fairs delivered directly to our members. This role is at the heart of our mission, ensuring that every interaction reflects our commitment to excellence and human-centric care.

As the Events Manager, you will sit at the intersection of Client Success, Member Marketing, and Growth Marketing. You are someone who finds deep satisfaction in logistics done right and understands that at this scale, the process is the product. Beyond the benefit fairs, you will support internal corporate events and our annual client conference, building scalable systems that allow our team to deliver premium experiences consistently. If you thrive in structured complexity and lead with a customer-service mindset, Lantern is the place for you to make a tangible impact on the future of healthcare.

Key Responsibilities
  • Direct the end-to-end planning and execution of 200+ annual open enrollment benefit fairs, managing logistics, vendor relationships, and staffing.
  • Build and refine scalable systems for the events portfolio, including swag inventory management, staffing workflows, and post-event reporting.
  • Collaborate cross-functionally with Client Success and Marketing teams to ensure every event aligns with client expectations and Lantern’s brand standards.
  • Oversee internal corporate events, managing venue sourcing, room assignments, budget tracking, and full run-of-show execution.
  • Support the execution of the annual client conference, focusing on attendee experience, logistics, and on-site coordination.
  • Maintain rigorous pre-event documentation and lead post-event debriefs to identify trends and drive continuous process improvement.
  • Develop creative, experiential activations for high-priority VIP client fairs to elevate the member experience.
  • Manage event-level budgets, tracking variances and ensuring all programming stays within financial parameters.
  • Utilize project management tools like Monday.com to maintain real-time visibility into event timelines for all stakeholders.
Qualifications
  • 3+ years of experience in high-volume event management or complex program coordination.
  • Proven track record of managing multiple event formats simultaneously without compromising on quality or detail.
  • Exceptional organizational skills with a process-first mindset—you think in checklists and contingency plans.
  • Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to navigate competing priorities across various internal departments.
  • Proficiency in project management software (Monday.com preferred) and familiarity with CRM tools like HubSpot or Salesforce.
  • Analytical mindset capable of translating event performance data into actionable strategic improvements.
  • Willingness to travel and work flexible hours during peak open enrollment seasons.
  • Experience in healthcare, employee benefits, or B2B HR technology is highly preferred.
  • Ability to hire and manage third-party contractors and event staff effectively.
Benefits
  • Comprehensive Medical, Dental, and Vision insurance plans.
  • 401(k) retirement plan with company matching.
  • Paid Time Off (PTO) and paid Parental Leave.
  • Short-term and Long-term Disability coverage.
  • Life Insurance.
  • A remote-first work environment built on the pillars of integrity, grit, and inclusion.
  • The opportunity to work with a team dedicated to making a difference in the lives of millions of members.
