EventMobi: Senior Front End Engineer - Remote

About the Role

EventMobi is looking for a Senior Front End Engineer to help shape the core front-end architecture of a global event platform. You will build large, offline-capable, cross-device React/TypeScript systems and influence technical direction through system-level thinking and AI-native development.

• Evolve high-performance, responsive Progressive Web Apps with offline-first capabilities and real-time updates.
• Own features end-to-end, from design review and implementation to CI/CD and monitoring.
• Design abstractions that survive real-world complexity and improve large codebases.
• Mentor engineers and advocate for clean code and disciplined engineering practices.
• Embrace AI-assisted development to solve high-impact problems.

• 8+ years building scalable, user-facing software.
• 4+ years of deep experience with JavaScript/TypeScript and React.
• Strong architectural thinking and understanding of SOLID principles and design patterns.
• Experience with REST APIs, modern HTML/CSS, and automated testing (Jest, React Testing Library).
• Comfort working in an async-first, remote environment with clear written communication.

• Experience with React Query or similar API integration libraries.
• Mobile app development experience (Capacitor, Cordova, React Native).
• Knowledge of Docker, AWS, GitHub Actions, and CI/CD pipelines.

• Base salary range: $50,000 - $85,000 CAD per annum.
• 2-weeks PTO plus 3 summer days and a birthday holiday.
