Key ResponsibilitiesAs a Software Engineer III, your primary focus will be the design and implementation of robust microservices that handle massive transaction volumes. You will take ownership of the full software development lifecycle, from initial architectural discussions to deployment and monitoring. You are expected to write clean, maintainable, and highly efficient code in Go, ensuring that our systems remain resilient and performant under heavy loads.
- Design, develop, and maintain distributed systems and microservices using Golang.
- Collaborate with product managers and stakeholders to define technical requirements and roadmaps.
- Drive code quality through rigorous peer reviews, comprehensive unit testing, and documentation.
- Optimize system performance and troubleshoot complex production issues to ensure high availability.
- Mentor junior and mid-level engineers, fostering a culture of technical excellence and growth.
- Participate in architectural decisions that shape the future of our financial ecosystem.
- Implement and improve CI/CD pipelines to streamline the delivery of high-quality software.

QualificationsThe ideal candidate is a seasoned professional with a strong background in backend development and a passion for solving difficult engineering problems. You should be comfortable working in an agile, fast-paced environment and have a proven track record of delivering scalable software solutions.
- Extensive experience in professional software development, with a strong focus on Golang.
- Deep understanding of microservices architecture and distributed systems design.
- Proficiency in working with SQL and NoSQL databases (e.g., PostgreSQL, MongoDB, Cassandra).
- Solid experience with cloud infrastructure, preferably AWS, and containerization tools like Docker and Kubernetes.
- Strong knowledge of RESTful API design and gRPC.
- Experience with messaging systems and event-driven architectures (e.g., Kafka, RabbitMQ).
- Commitment to software engineering best practices, including SOLID principles, TDD, and Clean Code.
- Excellent communication skills and the ability to work effectively in a remote, collaborative setting.
