Key Responsibilities- Manage a diverse caseload of employment law matters from inception through to resolution, including unfair dismissal, discrimination, and breach of contract claims.
- Provide strategic advice to corporate clients on HR issues, including disciplinary procedures, redundancies, and large-scale reorganizations.
- Draft and negotiate complex legal documents such as settlement agreements, executive contracts, and comprehensive staff handbooks.
- Represent clients at Employment Tribunals, managing all aspects of litigation including witness statements, bundles, and advocacy where appropriate.
- Keep abreast of legislative changes and emerging trends in employment law to provide proactive and commercially astute advice.
- Collaborate with senior partners to assist in business development initiatives and maintain strong, long-term client relationships.
- Qualified Solicitor or Barrister with a valid practicing certificate and a minimum of 3 years Post-Qualified Experience (PQE) specializing in employment law.
- Demonstrable experience in handling both contentious and non-contentious legal matters with minimal supervision.
- Exceptional drafting skills and the ability to communicate complex legal concepts in a clear, accessible manner.
- Strong commercial awareness and a client-focused approach to problem-solving.
- Highly organized with the ability to manage multiple deadlines in a remote, digital-first workspace.
