About the Role

Aisle and Abroad is seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Email Support Representative to join our growing 100% remote team. This role is ideal for a service-oriented professional who excels in a digital environment and is committed to delivering high-quality, empathetic support to our valued customers. As a key member of our customer experience department, you will act as a primary point of contact, resolving inquiries and managing sensitive account data with the highest level of precision and integrity. We are looking for individuals who take pride in their written work and are excited to grow within a tech-forward organization that prioritizes both customer satisfaction and employee development. This is a full-time position that offers the stability of a competitive salary alongside the flexibility of a home-based workspace.

Key Responsibilities

In this role, you will be responsible for providing world-class assistance through our primary email channel. You will manage a high volume of incoming support tickets, ensuring that every customer receives a timely and helpful response that meets our brand standards. Your daily tasks will include accessing customer accounts to troubleshoot issues, investigating service discrepancies, and providing clear resolutions that align with our company policies.

  • Manage and respond to customer support inquiries via email within established response time targets and service level agreements (SLAs).
  • Access and navigate internal customer account databases to identify the root cause of reported technical or billing problems.
  • Compose professional, clear, and empathetic email responses that address customer concerns effectively while maintaining a positive brand voice.
  • Maintain accurate and detailed records of all customer interactions within our centralized customer support management system.
  • Identify and escalate complex, unresolved, or high-priority issues to senior support staff with comprehensive internal notes and documentation.
  • Consistently meet or exceed daily productivity targets regarding email volume and customer satisfaction (CSAT) scores.
  • Collaborate with the wider team to identify common trends in customer issues and suggest improvements to support processes to enhance the overall user experience.
  • Ensure all data handling complies with company privacy policies and strict security protocols to protect sensitive customer information.

Qualifications

We are looking for individuals who are eager to learn and possess a strong sense of responsibility. While no prior experience in customer support is required, you must demonstrate exceptional written communication skills and a high level of attention to detail. Because this position involves accessing customer account details and personal data, all successful candidates must pass a comprehensive pre-employment background check to ensure the safety and security of our community.

  • Minimum of a high school diploma or GED equivalent required.
  • Exceptional written communication skills, including a mastery of grammar, professional tone, and clear formatting.
  • Sharp attention to detail, particularly when reviewing sensitive account information and identifying discrepancies.
  • Strong time management skills and the ability to work independently in a remote setting without constant supervision.
  • The ability to remain patient, empathetic, and professional when dealing with frustrated or confused customers.
  • Proficiency in basic computer applications and the ability to learn new software platforms and CRM tools quickly.
  • Must be a current resident of the United States with a reliable, high-speed internet connection and a dedicated home workspace.
  • A proactive mindset with the ability to identify potential issues before they escalate into larger problems.
  • Willingness to undergo and pass a standard background check as a condition of employment.

Benefits

At Aisle and Abroad, we believe in investing in our people from day one. We provide a supportive, inclusive environment where you can build a long-term career in customer experience and operations through comprehensive training and ongoing mentorship.

  • Starting salary between $35,000 and $44,000 per year, commensurate with performance and skill level.
  • 100% remote work flexibility, allowing you to work from any location within the United States.
  • Full, paid training provided from day one to ensure you have all the tools and knowledge needed to succeed.
  • Opportunities for professional development and internal advancement as the company continues to expand.
  • Exposure to a modern, tech-forward work culture that values efficiency, innovation, and employee feedback.
