Key Responsibilities

The Electrician is responsible for a wide scope of technical duties designed to keep the Royal Beach Club running at peak efficiency. You will specialize in the diagnosis, repair, and preventative maintenance of all electrical installations, ensuring compliance with international safety regulations and company policies. From high-voltage power generation to the delicate electronics of our audio-visual systems, your expertise will ensure a seamless operational flow for guests and staff.

  • Execute comprehensive maintenance and repairs on high-voltage equipment, kitchen venues, and industrial laundry facilities to minimize operational downtime.
  • Perform technical servicing on a variety of transportation assets, including electric vehicles (EVs), e-trams, e-bikes, heavy machinery, and marine vessels.
  • Manage and troubleshoot complex electronic systems including CCTV networks, data systems, and fire alarm configurations to ensure destination-wide security and connectivity.
  • Install and maintain guest-centric technology such as Audio & Video systems (Videlio), satellite dish arrays, weather station antennas, and television units across offices and guest venues.
  • Utilize the AMOS maintenance system to track components, parts, and discrepancies, ensuring all work orders are documented and equipment is cataloged correctly for audit purposes.
  • Uphold a strict safety-first culture by adhering to Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) standards, chemical management protocols, and public health guidelines.
  • Collaborate with the Electronic Manager and diverse international teams to resolve technical challenges and optimize the performance of newly acquired electrical equipment.
  • Conduct bi-weekly inventory assessments to ensure the availability of essential spare parts and high-quality tools, maintaining an orderly and clean workspace at all times.

Qualifications

To excel in this role, candidates must possess a deep technical understanding of electrical engineering within a resort or marine context. We are looking for a proactive professional who thrives in a fast-paced environment and possesses the problem-solving skills necessary to handle high-stakes technical issues under strict deadlines.

  • A High School Diploma or equivalent basic education equivalency is required for this technical position.
  • A minimum of three (3) years of progressive technical experience and hands-on training in a luxury resort or marine environment.
  • At least two (2) years of direct operational experience with critical equipment, including power generation, sewage treatment plants, incinerators, and potable water production systems.
  • Possession of a valid professional license or technical certification in the area of electrical specialty.
  • Advanced proficiency in reading and interpreting electrical system documentation, including technical drawings, service manuals, and instruction guides.
  • Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to communicate effectively in English, both verbally and in writing, with stakeholders, contractors, and vendors.
  • Physical capability to work in tropical outdoor conditions, including high heat and humidity, while performing tasks that involve heavy lifting (up to 50 lbs) and climbing.
