As a CX Video Content Design Intern at Dropbox, you will play a pivotal role in shaping how millions of users interact with our platform through engaging, educational multimedia content. This 12-week summer program offers a unique blend of creative production and strategic content design, allowing you to contribute to a global library of video tutorials that empower our customers to succeed in a Virtual First world. Working alongside a talented team of content designers and multimedia experts, you will bridge the gap between complex technical features and intuitive visual learning, ensuring our users have the resources they need to thrive.

This internship is more than just a summer role; it is an immersion into the workflows of a world-class technology company. You will be integrated into our production cycles, gaining exposure to everything from initial scripting and storyboard development to final publishing and performance tracking. Whether you are refining a tutorial for our YouTube channel or optimizing a help center video, your work will have a tangible impact on the user experience. We are looking for a creative storyteller who is passionate about digital media and eager to explore how automation and AI can revolutionize the future of content creation.

  • Collaborate with cross-functional stakeholders to incorporate feedback into video projects, ensuring alignment with brand voice and educational goals.
  • Learn and implement established production workflows and templates to maintain visual consistency and scalability for a global audience.
  • Conduct content audits to identify and refresh outdated or duplicate materials, maintaining the high standard of our educational ecosystem.
  • Assist in tracking video performance metrics and engagement data to provide actionable insights for future content strategies.
  • Explore and experiment with emerging AI tools and automation workflows to improve the efficiency and clarity of our video production process.
Qualifications
  • Currently enrolled in a degree program or a recent graduate in Multimedia, Film, Design, Communications, Education, or a related field (with a graduation date by Spring 2028).
  • A strong portfolio or demonstrated interest in visual storytelling, digital media creation, and educational content.
  • Foundational experience with video editing software, such as Adobe Premiere Pro, including an understanding of cuts, audio leveling, and standard export settings.
  • Familiarity with digital distribution platforms like YouTube, Instagram, or TikTok, and an understanding of how titles and thumbnails drive user engagement.
  • Experience using screen recording tools like Loom or similar software to create clear, instructional content.
  • Excellent communication skills and a meticulous eye for detail, with the ability to follow complex brand guidelines and production standards.
  • Natural curiosity regarding the intersection of technology and creativity, particularly in the realm of AI-driven content creation.
Benefits
  • Engage in a robust Virtual First work culture that prioritizes flexibility and meaningful digital connection.
  • Attend the exclusive Emerging Talent Summit, an in-person event designed to help interns build lasting professional networks and explore career development opportunities.
  • Receive dedicated mentorship from experienced content designers and multimedia producers who are invested in your professional growth.
  • Gain hands-on experience at a global technology company, building a professional portfolio that showcases real-world impact.
  • Participate in a structured 12-week program with defined start dates in either May or June 2026 to fit your academic schedule.
