Nearly 80% of all enterprise data is trapped in unstructured formats like PDFs, creating a massive bottleneck for modern digital workflows. Traditional OCR and standard machine learning approaches often fail when faced with complex layouts, multi-column text, or intricate tables. Reducto solves this by breaking down document layouts into subsections and contextually parsing content using a sophisticated combination of vision models, large language models (LLMs), and proprietary heuristics. As a general applicant at Reducto, your role will be defined by your unique strengths and the immediate needs of our rapidly scaling organization. We hire for talent and ambition first, meaning your day-to-day contributions will evolve alongside the company. Potential focus areas include:

• Collaborating across engineering, product, and design teams to identify and bridge gaps in our document processing pipeline.
• Developing and optimizing sophisticated vision models and LLM integrations to improve the accuracy of data extraction from non-standard layouts.
• Building and maintaining robust, scalable infrastructure capable of handling the demands of global enterprise customers and FAANG-level workloads.
• Contributing to the architectural evolution of our agentic platform to ensure we remain the gold standard for document intelligence.
• Solving high-level technical challenges related to data chunking, metadata extraction, and the conversion of complex graphical data into structured formats.
• Engaging with our community of elite AI partners to understand emerging needs and translating those insights into actionable product features.

We are looking for individuals who possess a rare blend of technical excellence and entrepreneurial spirit. While we value diverse backgrounds, we generally look for the following attributes in our team members:

• A proven track record of excellence in your field, whether in software engineering, AI/ML research, product management, or operations.
• Strong experience working with cutting-edge technologies, particularly in the realms of LLMs, computer vision, or high-scale cloud infrastructure.
• The ability to thrive in an ambiguous, fast-moving environment where priorities can shift based on rapid growth and market demands.
• A deep sense of ownership and the ambition to build foundational technology that impacts thousands of businesses worldwide.
• Excellent communication skills and the ability to explain complex technical concepts to both internal teams and external stakeholders.
