We are currently seeking a specialized Part-Time Professor for the course 'Elaboración de Materiales Educativos para la Primera Infancia' within our Communications Faculty for the 2026-2 academic cycle. This role is ideal for experts dedicated to pedagogical innovation and the creation of impactful learning resources for early childhood development.
Key ResponsibilitiesAs a key member of our teaching staff, you will be responsible for providing high-quality instruction and mentorship. Your primary focus will be on the following areas:
- Design and develop the course syllabus and comprehensive class materials aligned with modern pedagogical standards.
- Lead teaching sessions aimed at ensuring students achieve specific academic learning outcomes.
- Create, administer, and grade examinations and assessments for each learning unit to measure student progress accurately.
- Implement active learning strategies that foster creativity and holistic development in the context of early childhood education.
- Participate in academic activities programmed by the department head and contribute to the continuous improvement of the curriculum.
- Utilize digital and physical educational resources to enhance the classroom experience and promote innovation in material design.
We are looking for professionals who combine academic excellence with practical field experience. To be considered for this position, you must meet the following criteria:
- Professional Degree (Bachiller/Título) in Early Childhood Education (Educación Inicial), duly registered with SUNEDU.
- Master’s Degree (Maestría) registered with SUNEDU, emphasizing educational or specialized sectors.
- Minimum of three (3) years of proven professional experience in the field of education or educational design.
- Specific expertise in the design, production, and evaluation of educational materials tailored for early childhood development.
- Prior experience in university-level teaching with a focus on competency-based planning and active learning methodologies.
- Proficiency in digital teaching tools, innovative assessment techniques, and educational technology.
- Availability to work on-site at our San Juan de Lurigancho campus (SJL) according to the part-time schedule.
