About the Role
Wish You Were Here Group is an internationally recognized hospitality company behind some of the industry’s most celebrated restaurants, cafés, and lifestyle destinations. We are looking for an ambitious, commercially-focused Digital Marketing Specialist to lead our digital ecosystem and drive the next chapter of our growth. Reporting directly to senior leadership, you will own the strategy for our entire portfolio, blending creativity with data-driven technology to enhance the guest journey from first discovery to loyal regular.
As a key leader in our marketing department, you will manage everything from high-scale paid media campaigns and sophisticated CRM lifecycles to website optimization and third-party platform performance. You will work alongside a talented creative team and agency partners to ensure our premium brand positioning is maintained while delivering measurable revenue growth across all domestic and international locations. This is a remote-friendly role designed for a digital native who thrives in a fast-paced, entrepreneurial environment.
Key Responsibilities- Growth Strategy: Develop and execute group-wide digital marketing plans focused on guest acquisition, retention, and increasing lifetime value across all hospitality brands.
- Paid Media Leadership: Oversee significant budgets across Meta, Google, YouTube, and TikTok, focusing on audience development, creative testing, and ROAS optimization.
- Website & SEO: Own the digital experience for all group websites, implementing technical SEO, UX improvements, and conversion rate optimization to streamline the booking process.
- CRM & Lifecycle Marketing: Design and automate personalized guest journeys, including welcome sequences, VIP communications, and win-back campaigns to drive repeat visitation.
- Platform Management: Optimize performance on third-party marketplaces such as OpenTable and Uber Eats, leveraging sponsored listings and profile enhancements to maximize visibility.
- Analytics & Intelligence: Build comprehensive executive dashboards using GA4 and Looker Studio to track digital revenue, attribution modeling, and campaign performance.
- MarTech Innovation: Evaluate and implement emerging AI tools and marketing automation software to improve workflow efficiency and audience insights.
- Experience: 4+ years of experience in digital marketing, preferably within the hospitality, restaurant, or luxury lifestyle sectors.
- Platform Expertise: Mastery of Google Ads, Meta Ads Manager, GA4, and CRM platforms; experience with hospitality-specific tech like OpenTable is a major plus.
- Analytical Rigor: Strong ability to translate complex data sets into actionable business recommendations and executive-level reporting.
- Communication: Exceptional stakeholder management skills with the ability to collaborate across creative, operational, and leadership teams.
