About the Role
The award-winning Forbes Content & Design Studio is looking for a talented, driven Designer to join our Multiplatform Content Design team. This is a high-growth opportunity for an ambitious creative who wants their work seen at scale on a team dedicated to craft, experimentation, and continuous education. Leveraging visual, UX, and motion design, you will produce high-volume, high-impact digital experiences in partnership with internal teams across Forbes and many of the world's leading brands. You will bring sophisticated visual taste, a discerning eye for packaging, genuine empathy for the user, and meticulous attention to detail to a deeply collaborative environment.
Key ResponsibilitiesAs a Multiplatform Designer, you will focus on three core areas: Premium Content, Social Engagement, and Strategic Growth. Your work will bridge the gap between editorial storytelling and brand identity.
- Premium Content Design: Craft compelling, user-focused designs for on- and off-platform brand experiences, including immersive article packages, landing pages, and interactive features. You will translate client briefs into clear visual concepts, owning the process from initial direction to polished final delivery.
- Social Media Production: Design and produce platform-native social content, including carousels, GIFs, and motion graphics tailored to specific channel audiences. You will use performance data to iterate on creative decisions and keep pace with fast-moving digital trends.
- Pre-Sale & Pitch Work: Create polished mockups and concept designs that bring proposals to life for potential partners. You will help evolve a library of templates and reusable assets to increase the quality and speed of business development.
- Live Events: Design content recaps and supporting graphics that capture the energy of ForbesLive events and extend their reach across digital platforms.
- Innovation & Collaboration: Explore and adopt new tools, including AI-assisted design workflows, to elevate production. You will contribute to team brainstorming sessions and provide constructive feedback to raise the overall creative bar.
We are looking for a versatile designer who thrives in a fast-paced media environment and possesses a strong foundation in both static and motion design.
- At least 3 years of experience in digital or interaction design, preferably within editorial, branded content, or agency environments.
- A professional portfolio showcasing thoughtful, user-centric solutions to complex design problems.
- Expert proficiency in Figma and Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop, Illustrator, After Effects).
- Strong visual communication skills with a keen eye for layout, hierarchy, typography, and color.
- Demonstrated experience in motion design and producing engaging content for social platforms.
- Ability to manage a diverse workload across competing priorities while consistently meeting deadlines.
- A nimble, solutions-oriented mindset with world-class attention to detail and a passion for continuous learning.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills for collaborating with stakeholders at all levels.

- Annual base salary range of $70,000 - $80,000, determined based on experience and skills.
