• Act as a subject matter expert, guiding both staff and customers toward the right solutions for complex home improvement projects.
• Monitor department performance metrics and implement strategic improvements to drive profitability and operational efficiency.
• Ensure a safe working environment by enforcing health and safety protocols and conducting regular safety inspections.
• Facilitate continuous learning by identifying training needs and providing hands-on guidance to help associates grow their technical and professional skills.
• Collaborate with the store leadership team to align departmental goals with the company's broader mission and values.

• Proven leadership experience in a retail, hospitality, or customer-facing environment, with a track record of managing teams.
• Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to engage effectively with diverse groups of people.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities, particularly regarding sales data and operational workflows.
• A proactive mindset with a genuine eagerness to learn about new products, technologies, and retail trends.
• Experience in project management or the home improvement industry is considered a significant asset.
