As a Data Entry Clerk, you will be responsible for a variety of tasks ranging from basic information input to complex record reconciliation. Key ResponsibilitiesYour primary objective is to facilitate the seamless flow of information within our organization. This involves the following core duties and administrative functions:
- Accurately input and update customer records, account information, and operational data into our proprietary internal systems.
- Conduct regular audits of submitted information to identify inconsistencies, errors, or missing data points, flagging these issues for immediate resolution.
- Maintain highly organized digital filing systems to ensure that data remains accessible and structured across multiple client accounts.
- Consistently meet or exceed daily quotas for data volume and accuracy to support the overall efficiency of the operations department.
- Collaborate effectively with team leads and colleagues via email and instant messaging platforms to resolve data discrepancies and provide status updates.
- Uphold the highest standards of data privacy and confidentiality, ensuring all sensitive information is handled according to company security protocols.
- Assist with administrative projects and data cleaning initiatives as assigned by management to improve overall database health and reporting accuracy.
We are looking for candidates who are eager to learn and possess a strong work ethic. While previous experience is not required, the following qualifications are essential for success in this remote environment:
- A high school diploma or equivalent (GED) is required for this position.
- Demonstrated typing proficiency with a minimum speed of 40 words per minute (WPM) and high accuracy levels.
- Access to a reliable high-speed internet connection and a dedicated, quiet home workspace free from distractions.
- Strong computer literacy, including familiarity with spreadsheets, word processing, and digital communication tools like Slack or Microsoft Teams.
