Key ResponsibilitiesAs a Data Entry Clerk at Aisle and Abroad, your primary focus will be the systematic entry and maintenance of critical business information. You will serve as a frontline steward of data quality, ensuring that every record reflects the most current and accurate information available.
- Inputting high volumes of customer and operational data into internal proprietary systems with speed and accuracy.
- Reviewing source documentation to verify the completeness and validity of data before final entry into the database.
- Identifying, flagging, and investigating data discrepancies or errors to ensure all records meet organizational standards.
- Maintaining meticulously organized digital records across multiple accounts to facilitate easy retrieval and reporting for management.
- Consistently meeting or exceeding daily productivity and accuracy targets set by the operations leadership team.
- Collaborating effectively with team leads and colleagues via email, chat, and video conferencing to resolve data-related queries.
- Adhering to strict confidentiality protocols and data protection policies to safeguard sensitive company and client information.
- Updating existing records as new information becomes available to ensure database longevity and relevance.
We are looking for candidates who are disciplined, detail-oriented, and ready to contribute to a remote-first culture. While this is an entry-level position, a high degree of accountability and a commitment to data integrity are essential for success.
- Possession of a high school diploma or equivalent (GED) is required.
- Demonstrated typing proficiency with a minimum speed of 40 words per minute (WPM) and high accuracy.
- Must have a reliable high-speed internet connection and a dedicated, quiet home workspace free from distractions.
- A strong sense of professional ethics and the ability to handle confidential information with discretion.
- Ability to pass a comprehensive pre-employment background check, which is mandatory for all roles handling sensitive data.
- Excellent written communication skills for effective interaction within a remote team environment.
- Candidates must be currently authorized to work in the United States.
- A proactive approach to learning; while no prior data entry experience is required, a willingness to undergo paid training is essential.
