YO HR Consultancy is seeking a highly analytical and detail-oriented Data Analyst to join our dynamic team as a dedicated Contractor. This remote position is designed for an Excel power user who thrives on transforming raw data into meaningful stories that drive strategic business decisions. As a critical member of our data operations, you will be responsible for ensuring data integrity, building robust reporting frameworks, and providing the quantitative evidence needed to optimize our consultancy services. Key Responsibilities- Develop, maintain, and automate complex Excel-based models to track key performance indicators and operational metrics.
- Perform deep-dive data cleansing and validation to ensure the highest level of accuracy across all internal and client-facing reports.
- Utilize advanced functions including VLOOKUP, INDEX/MATCH, Pivot Tables, and Power Query to manipulate large datasets from multiple sources.
- Create visually compelling dashboards and data visualizations that translate technical findings into digestible insights for non-technical stakeholders.
- Identify trends, correlations, and anomalies within datasets to provide proactive recommendations for process improvements.
- Collaborate with various departments to understand their data needs and deliver customized reporting solutions on a timely basis.
- Document data workflows and standard operating procedures to ensure consistency and scalability in reporting practices.
- Proven experience as a Data Analyst, specifically focusing on data manipulation and reporting within Microsoft Excel.
- Expert-level proficiency in Microsoft Excel is mandatory, including advanced formulas, macro recording, and data modeling.
- Strong analytical mindset with the ability to collect, organize, and analyze significant amounts of information with attention to detail and accuracy.
- Solid understanding of data structures and the ability to work with disparate data formats to create unified reports.
- Excellent communication skills, with the ability to explain complex data trends to management and team members clearly.
- High degree of self-discipline and the ability to manage deadlines independently in a fully remote environment.
- A degree in Mathematics, Economics, Computer Science, Information Management, or Statistics is highly preferred.
