Key ResponsibilitiesAs a Data Analyst at Aisle and Abroad, your primary mission is to ensure that our leadership team has access to accurate, timely, and relevant data to guide the company’s future. Your day-to-day activities will involve the following:
- Extract, clean, and validate data from a diverse range of internal systems and external sources to ensure a single source of truth for the organization.
- Design, develop, and maintain automated dashboards and comprehensive reports using Microsoft Excel, Google Sheets, and advanced Business Intelligence (BI) tools.
- Perform deep-dive exploratory data analysis to identify significant trends, patterns, and anomalies that could impact business performance.
- Collaborate closely with cross-functional stakeholders to define, track, and refine Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) and success metrics for various departments.
- Translate complex technical findings into clear, concise, and actionable narratives for non-technical leadership and team members.
- Oversee the maintenance of data architecture within our reporting systems to guarantee high levels of data accuracy and structural integrity.
- Provide ad-hoc analytical support for special projects, assisting in the evaluation of new business opportunities and internal process improvements.
To be successful in this role, you must possess a sharp analytical mind and a dedicated focus on precision. We are looking for candidates who meet the following criteria:
- A high school diploma is required for this position; however, a Bachelor’s degree in Data Science, Finance, Statistics, Business, or a related field is strongly preferred.
- Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel, including the use of pivot tables, VLOOKUPs, and complex formulas for data manipulation.
- Demonstrated experience or high level of familiarity with modern data visualization tools such as Google Data Studio, Tableau, or Power BI.
- Strong critical thinking skills with the ability to approach problems from multiple angles and provide logical, data-backed solutions.
- Exceptional attention to detail, ensuring that every report produced is accurate and verified.
- Prior experience in a business intelligence or data support role is an advantage but not strictly required for the right candidate.
- Must be authorized to work in the United States and possess the ability to work effectively in a fully remote environment.
