Crunch Fitness, operated by Fit Fusion, LLC, is seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Custodian to join our vibrant team. As a Custodian at Fit Fusion, you are more than just a maintenance professional; you are an ambassador of health and safety. You will work independently and alongside our management team to ensure the club remains in peak condition throughout the day. Key ResponsibilitiesYour primary objective is to maintain an impeccable level of cleanliness across all areas of the fitness center. This involves a comprehensive approach to facility maintenance and guest services, including the following duties:
- Execute thorough daily cleaning and sanitization protocols for all fitness equipment, ensuring a hygienic surface for every workout.
- Maintain the pristine condition of high-traffic areas, including locker rooms, showers, restrooms, and common lounge spaces.
- Monitor and manage the immediate exterior of the club to ensure a welcoming and professional first impression for all visitors.
- Conduct regular inventory audits of cleaning chemicals, toiletries, and facility supplies, proactively notifying management when restocking is required.
- Strictly adhere to and complete itemized daily cleaning checklists as established by the General Manager and Assistant General Manager.
- Engage with members and guests with a friendly and helpful demeanor, assisting with inquiries or service needs whenever necessary.
- Ensure all floor surfaces are kept clear of debris and hazards, utilizing appropriate equipment and signage to maintain a safe walking environment.
- Collaborate with the club leadership team to identify and address any facility maintenance needs or safety concerns promptly.
We are looking for candidates who are reliable, hardworking, and committed to excellence. The ideal candidate will meet the following criteria:
- Prior experience in janitorial, custodial, or commercial cleaning roles is preferred but not required; we value a strong work ethic and a willingness to learn.
- Exceptional attention to detail with the ability to spot and address cleanliness issues that others might overlook.
- Strong time management and organizational skills, allowing for the efficient prioritization of tasks during a busy shift.
- A customer-centric mindset with a commitment to maintaining a positive and professional attitude toward staff and members.
- Physical stamina to perform manual labor, including the ability to stand and walk for extended periods.
- The ability to lift or move equipment and supplies weighing up to 50 pounds.
- Capability to bend, crouch, reach, and maneuver in various spaces to perform cleaning tasks effectively.
- Possession of a CPR/AED certification, or the ability to obtain this certification within the first 30 days of employment.
