About the Role

Stio is seeking a highly organized and strategic Creative Operations Manager to serve as the organizational engine of our creative function. In this pivotal role, you will be the force that ensures high-impact creative work is produced efficiently, consistently, and on time. As the owner of our internal systems and workflows, you will manage the creative project pipeline across every season and channel, bridging the gap between creative vision and operational excellence. Reporting to the Associate Creative Director, you will partner closely with Brand, Performance, E-commerce, and Product teams to maintain a seamless flow of assets and resources, ensuring our growing library of mountain-inspired content is organized, accessible, and ready for the world.

Key Responsibilities
  • Project & Traffic Management: Oversee the end-to-end creative pipeline from initial brief intake through final delivery, managing priorities and stakeholder alignment across multiple workstreams.
  • Workflow Optimization: Build and maintain detailed workback calendars for seasonal campaigns, product launches, and evergreen needs, ensuring creative production timelines align with go-to-market dates.
  • Cross-Functional Coordination: Serve as the primary point of contact between the Creative team and partners in Digital, Retail, and Product to facilitate kick-offs, milestone reviews, and action-oriented follow-ups.
  • Process Architecture: Own and continuously improve our operating rhythms, including Asana project architecture and intake standards to reduce revision cycles and increase output quality.
  • Capacity Planning: Lead creative capacity planning by balancing workloads, setting realistic expectations, and identifying resource gaps to advocate for the team’s bandwidth.
  • AI Integration: Champion the adoption of AI tools to streamline production, automate repeatable tasks, and improve overall creative efficiency.
  • Asset Management: Manage the Digital Asset Management (DAM) platform (Bynder), overseeing taxonomy, naming conventions, metadata standards, and cross-functional team adoption.
  • Vendor Management: Coordinate with external freelancers and creative vendors on contracts, timelines, and deliverables, ensuring timely invoice processing in partnership with the finance team.

Qualifications
  • Experience: At least 3 years of experience managing creative or marketing workflows within an in-house brand, agency, or creative team environment.
  • Project Management Mastery: Advanced proficiency in Asana or similar tools, with a proven track record of building project templates and architecture from the ground up.
  • Technical Literacy: Hands-on experience with DAM platforms (Bynder preferred) and a strong fluency with modern AI tools to improve creative production.
  • Strategic Communication: Excellent ability to translate high-level strategy into actionable processes and provide clear, confident communication across creative and technical stakeholders.
  • Operational Instincts: Strong brief-writing skills and the ability to identify process inefficiencies before they impact delivery.
  • Cultural Alignment: A genuine affinity for the mountain lifestyle and a commitment to Stio’s mission of environmental stewardship and inclusion.
  • Education: Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Communications, Business, or a related field preferred.

Benefits
  • Health & Wellness: Comprehensive Medical, Dental, and Vision plans to support your well-being.
  • Financial Security: 401k plan with company matching and company-paid Long Term Disability.
  • Work-Life Balance: Generous paid time off policies and access to Employee Assistance Programs.
  • Brand Perks: Professional gear testing opportunities and employee discounts on Stio apparel and accessories.
  • Inclusive Culture: A mission-driven environment focused on sustainability, diversity, and outdoor access for all.
