About the Role
Strange Face is looking for a visionary Creative Director to spearhead the global campaign for BUBLIK, an ambitious bilingual psychodrama currently in post-production. Starring the acclaimed Ksenia Rappoport with a score by Novelist, the film is being positioned for major international festivals, including Sundance. We are entering a critical phase of production and require an experienced creative leader to architect a crowdfunding and social presence that matches the film’s high-art aesthetic and psychological depth. This is a remote, professional engagement for a strategist who understands the intersection of cinema, digital storytelling, and audience conversion.
Key ResponsibilitiesAs the Creative Director, you will hold full ownership of the visual and narrative identity for BUBLIK’s public launch. You will be expected to translate the film’s unique atmosphere into a compelling digital experience that resonates with backers and cinephiles alike.
- Design and execute the comprehensive creative vision for the film’s Kickstarter campaign, ensuring every asset reflects the film’s high production standards.
- Architect the narrative arc of the campaign, moving audiences through stages of awareness, interest, and conversion across a multi-month rollout.
- Develop a robust content strategy across social media platforms, leveraging our existing high-quality assets to build an organic and dedicated community.
- Craft the voice and tone of all audience-facing communications, ensuring the 'story of the film' is as compelling as the film itself.
- Manage production timelines and creative deliverables to ensure the campaign hits critical milestones ahead of festival submission deadlines.
This is a senior-level role requiring a proven track record in the film industry. We are looking for a professional who has successfully bridged the gap between creative excellence and financial results.
- Extensive experience leading high-profile film campaigns, specifically within the crowdfunding space (Kickstarter or equivalent).
- A portfolio demonstrating past success in hitting funding goals and building measurable audience engagement for independent or feature films.
- The ability to think like a cinematic storyteller while executing with the precision of a digital strategist.
- Deep understanding of the film festival circuit and how to build a brand identity that appeals to festival programmers and prestige distributors.
- Exceptional speed and agility; you must be comfortable working in a fast-paced environment with hard deadlines and high stakes.
Joining the BUBLIK team offers the opportunity to be part of a project with significant international momentum and artistic prestige.
- Competitive compensation for a high-impact, short-term professional engagement.
- The flexibility of a fully remote work environment, allowing you to contribute from anywhere in the world.
- A chance to work on a high-caliber production alongside internationally recognized talent and award-winning artists.
- Strategic creative freedom to shape the public debut of a film destined for the world’s most prestigious stages.
