About the Role

Leadenhall Search & Selection is proud to partner with a pioneering, mission-driven technology company that is redefining standards within a highly regulated global landscape. We are seeking a diligent and commercially-minded Corporate Commercial Paralegal to join a high-performing legal team. This fully remote position offers the unique opportunity to work at the intersection of innovative technology and complex legal frameworks, providing critical support to senior counsel while gaining exposure to high-stakes international transactions and corporate governance.

As a Corporate Commercial Paralegal, you will play a pivotal role in maintaining the legal integrity of the organization. You will be responsible for managing a diverse portfolio of commercial contracts, ensuring regulatory compliance across multiple jurisdictions, and streamlining legal operations. The ideal candidate is someone who thrives in a fast-paced environment, possesses an analytical mindset, and is passionate about leveraging technology to solve real-world problems. This role is designed for a legal professional who is ready to take ownership of their work and contribute to a company that prioritizes social impact and ethical innovation.

Key Responsibilities

The successful candidate will handle a wide range of legal and administrative duties, including but not limited to:

  • Drafting, reviewing, and negotiating a variety of commercial agreements, including NDAs, SaaS agreements, vendor contracts, and service level agreements.
  • Assisting with corporate secretarial tasks, such as maintaining statutory books, managing filings with regulatory bodies, and preparing board meeting minutes.
  • Conducting legal research on emerging regulations within the technology and data privacy sectors to ensure ongoing organizational compliance.
  • Supporting the legal team during corporate transactions, including mergers and acquisitions, by managing data rooms and coordinating due diligence processes.
  • Maintaining and updating the company’s contract management system to ensure all legal documentation is organized and easily accessible.
  • Liaising with cross-functional teams, such as Sales, Finance, and Product, to provide legal guidance on operational projects and risk mitigation.
  • Monitoring legislative changes and providing summaries to stakeholders regarding potential impacts on the business model.

Qualifications

We are looking for a candidate who meets the following professional criteria:

  • A Bachelor’s degree in Law (LLB) or a related field; completion of the LPC or SQE is highly desirable.
  • Minimum of 2-4 years of experience as a Paralegal within a reputable law firm or a fast-paced in-house legal department.
  • Proven experience in handling corporate governance matters and drafting commercial contracts.
  • Strong understanding of technology law, data protection (GDPR), and the nuances of working within a regulated industry.
  • Exceptional written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to simplify complex legal concepts for non-legal stakeholders.
  • High level of proficiency in legal tech tools and document management software.
  • Self-motivated and disciplined, with a demonstrated ability to work effectively in a fully remote, collaborative environment.

Benefits

Our client values its employees and offers a comprehensive rewards package designed to support a healthy work-life balance:

  • Competitive base salary and performance-based bonus structure.
  • Fully remote working arrangement with a flexible schedule to accommodate various time zones.
  • Generous annual leave allowance plus public holidays and a dedicated mental health day.
  • Comprehensive health, dental, and vision insurance plans.
  • Professional development budget to support ongoing legal training, certifications, and career growth.
  • Home office stipend to ensure you have a comfortable and productive remote workspace.
  • A mission-led culture where your work contributes to positive global change.
