About the Role
Vive Social + PR is seeking a creative, trend-obsessed Content Creator to join our dynamic team in Toronto. If you have your finger on the pulse of emerging social media shifts and a passion for crafting visually stunning, high-performance content, this is the perfect opportunity for you. We are looking for a storyteller who can seamlessly blend strategy with aesthetic appeal to help our clients stand out in a crowded digital landscape. This is a contract position requiring approximately 20-30 hours per week, offering a hybrid work model with two days per week in our Toronto office, and the potential to transition into a permanent, expanded role as we grow.
Key ResponsibilitiesAs a Content Creator, you will be the driving force behind our visual storytelling. Your primary focus will be the end-to-end production of engaging short-form video and graphic assets. Your daily tasks will include:
- Participating in shot list review meetings and contributing innovative ideas during collaborative brainstorming and content planning sessions.
- Executing creative briefs and visual guidelines with precision to produce high-quality photos, Reels, TikToks, and static graphics.
- Managing pre-production logistics, including shopping for and preparing necessary props and set designs to ensure a polished final look.
- Submitting all creative work for internal and client review, demonstrating agility by implementing feedback and revisions promptly.
- Maintaining a rigorous standard of quality across all deliverables while strictly adhering to production schedules and deadlines.
- Attending team and client strategy meetings to ensure all creative assets align with broader marketing objectives and brand voices.
- Managing administrative tasks related to production, including tracking billable hours and maintaining organized records of project expenses and approvals.
We are looking for a candidate who is both a technical expert and a creative visionary. To excel in this role, you should possess:
- Proven experience in social media content creation, specifically with a strong portfolio showcasing successful Reels and TikTok campaigns.
- Proficiency in video editing software and graphic design tools (such as Adobe Creative Suite, Canva, or CapCut).
- A deep understanding of social media algorithms, current trends, and best practices for audience engagement.
- Excellent organizational skills and the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously in a fast-paced agency environment.
- A proactive attitude with the ability to take creative direction and transform it into compelling visual narratives.
- Reliable transportation and the ability to work from our Toronto office two days per week for collaborative shoots and meetings.
- Strong communication skills and a professional demeanor when interacting with clients and internal stakeholders.
