Key Responsibilities

As a DevOps Engineer Consultant, your role extends beyond technical implementation; you will be a trusted advisor to our clients, helping them navigate the complexities of modern cloud environments. Your core duties will include:

• Collaborating closely with client stakeholders and leadership to gather technical requirements and provide transparent updates on project progress.
• Designing, deploying, and maintaining highly available and scalable services for both public-facing applications and internal enterprise systems.
• Leading the implementation of continuous delivery (CD) practices with a primary focus on Azure cloud environments, ensuring seamless deployment cycles.
• Analyzing platform performance and functionality to provide data-driven insights that inform project strategy and technical decision-making.
• Providing hands-on guidance to development teams regarding system architecture, best practices, and the configuration of complex CI/CD pipelines.
• Identifying opportunities for automation across the development lifecycle to reduce manual overhead and improve overall operational efficiency.
• Troubleshooting complex infrastructure issues and ensuring that all deployments meet the rigorous security and compliance standards required by our clients.

Qualifications

To succeed in this consulting-focused role, you must possess a unique blend of technical mastery and professional communication skills. We are looking for candidates who meet the following criteria:

• Extensive experience in a DevOps capacity, with a proven track record of managing production-level cloud environments.
• Direct experience working within a professional IT consultancy or a similar client-facing service organization.
• Strong proficiency in the Microsoft Azure ecosystem, including experience with Azure DevOps, ARM templates, or Bicep.
• The ability to navigate the unique requirements of the Public Sector; prior experience working with government bodies is highly beneficial.
• Current SC Clearance is preferred; however, candidates who are eligible and willing to undergo the security clearance process will be considered.
• Solid understanding of infrastructure-as-code (IaC) principles and containerization technologies like Docker and Kubernetes.
• Exceptional stakeholder management skills, with the ability to translate complex technical concepts for non-technical audiences.
