About the Role

Indovance Inc is looking for a meticulous and detail-oriented Design Engineer (CAD) to join our high-performing architectural and engineering team. This is a unique opportunity for a civil engineering professional to leverage their technical AutoCAD expertise in a role that offers high-impact project involvement, a clear path for career growth, and the eventual flexibility of working from home after an initial three-month immersive training period at our Pune facility.

• Develop and maintain highly accurate 2D and 3D technical drawings using AutoCAD and AutoCAD 3D software to meet diverse project requirements.
• Collaborate with international clients and cross-functional teams to ensure all designs strictly adhere to global building codes and architectural standards.
• Execute complex spatial and structural calculations, ensuring that all technical documentation is precise and construction-ready.
• Manage individual project timelines with high levels of accountability, ensuring that deliverables are submitted on schedule without compromising quality.
• Identify and troubleshoot potential modeling issues or design conflicts early in the development cycle to minimize project delays.
• Engage in inter-departmental coordination to streamline workflows and maintain the integrity of project data throughout the design lifecycle.
• Maintain a keen eye for detail while working under pressure to meet tight deadlines in a fast-paced, vibrant work environment.

• A Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering (BE Civil) from a recognized institution.
• A minimum of 1 to 2 years of professional experience specializing in Computer-Aided Design (CAD).
• Advanced proficiency in AutoCAD and AutoCAD 3D is mandatory.
• In-depth domain knowledge of international building codes and standard construction/architectural practices.
• Strong numerical and analytical skills with a proven ability to solve complex technical challenges.
• Excellent communication and organizational skills, with the ability to articulate technical concepts clearly.
• A proactive mindset with the ability to take full ownership of personal responsibilities.
• Willingness to work from our Narhe-Pune office for the first 3 months prior to transitioning to a permanent work-from-home arrangement.
