Key ResponsibilitiesYour primary focus will be the design and development of robust, scalable backend services utilizing the latest .NET Core and ASP.NET technologies. You will be responsible for the entire lifecycle of our REST APIs and microservices, ensuring they meet the high demands of our growing user base. Data management is a central part of this role, where you will work extensively with SQL Server and Azure Cosmos DB to ensure data integrity and high availability. Additionally, you will be tasked with optimizing our search capabilities through Elasticsearch, ensuring our users find exactly what they are looking for with speed and precision.
- Architect and implement scalable backend services and high-performance microservices.
- Lead the modernization of legacy .NET Framework applications into modern .NET 10 solutions.
- Manage and optimize application data across SQL and NoSQL environments like Azure Cosmos DB.
- Deploy, manage, and monitor containerized applications within Docker and Kubernetes environments.
- Uphold rigorous standards for security, reliability, and system performance.
- Collaborate closely with product managers and designers to translate business requirements into technical reality.
- Actively troubleshoot and resolve production issues to maintain a seamless user experience.
- Participate in architectural reviews and contribute to the long-term technical roadmap.
We are seeking a candidate with a strong foundation in computer science and at least three years of professional experience in backend development. You should have a deep understanding of the C# language and the broader .NET ecosystem. Experience with cloud-native development is essential, and while we primarily use Azure, we value broad cloud experience. You should be comfortable working in an agile setting, where communication and collaboration are as important as technical prowess. Since we are a diverse team, fluency in English is required to ensure effective communication across all departments.
- Degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or equivalent practical experience in software engineering.
- 3+ years of professional experience focusing on backend systems and API development.
- Advanced proficiency in C#, .NET Core, and ASP.NET.
- Strong experience with relational databases (SQL Server) and NoSQL solutions.
- Hands-on experience with cloud platforms, specifically Microsoft Azure.
- Familiarity with containerization tools, including Docker and Kubernetes.
- Knowledge of Elasticsearch for ranking and search optimization is a significant advantage.
- Understanding of event-driven architectures and data ingestion pipelines is highly desirable.
