Key Responsibilities- Design, implement, and maintain robust AWS cloud standards across networking, security, and compute infrastructure to ensure consistency and scalability.
- Collaborate closely with software engineers to build automated pipelines and self-service tools that streamline the entire software development lifecycle.
- Develop and manage Infrastructure as Code (IaC) using modern frameworks to provide repeatable, version-controlled environment provisioning.
- Establish and monitor key performance metrics to ensure high availability and reliability for all customer-facing and internal technical offerings.
- Drive the adoption of cloud-native best practices, serving as a subject matter expert for the engineering team on security, cost optimization, and performance.
- Troubleshoot and resolve complex infrastructure issues, performing root cause analysis to prevent recurrence and improve system resilience.
- Maintain the security posture of our cloud environments by implementing identity and access management (IAM) best practices and network segmentation.
- Extensive experience in cloud engineering, DevOps, or site reliability engineering, with a primary focus on the Amazon Web Services (AWS) ecosystem.
- Proven proficiency in Infrastructure as Code (IaC) tools such as Terraform, Pulumi, or AWS CloudFormation.
- Strong experience building and optimizing CI/CD workflows using tools like GitHub Actions, CircleCI, or Jenkins.
- Deep understanding of cloud networking architecture, including VPCs, transit gateways, load balancers, and DNS management.
- Hands-on experience with containerization and orchestration technologies such as Docker and Kubernetes.
- Solid scripting and automation skills in languages such as Python, Go, or Bash.
- Familiarity with modern monitoring and observability platforms to maintain visibility into complex distributed systems.
