About the Role

Dexterra Group is seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Office Cleaner to join our dynamic team. As a key member of our facility services team, you will be responsible for ensuring our facilities are maintained to the highest standards of cleanliness and hygiene. • Execute comprehensive floor maintenance including sweeping, mopping, and vacuuming to ensure all surfaces are debris-free.
• Perform deep cleaning and sanitization of high-traffic areas such as washrooms, common areas, and designated play zones.
• Replenish essential supplies across the facility, including hand towels, toilet tissue, and soap dispensers, ensuring no shortages occur.
• Conduct thorough dusting of all visible surfaces within reach, including counter tops, phone booths, pillars, lighting fixtures, and window ledges.
• Manage waste removal by emptying garbage bins and replacing liners consistently throughout the shift.
• Monitor and report any maintenance issues or safety hazards to the supervisor immediately to ensure a secure work environment.
• Maintain storage areas in a clean and organized manner, ensuring all cleaning equipment and chemicals are stored safely.

• A minimum of 6 months of professional cleaning or janitorial experience is required.
• Proven experience in floor care, including the ability to scrub, buff, and polish various floor types, is considered a strong asset.
• Must possess a positive attitude and the ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a team.
• Strong communication skills to interact professionally with supervisors, clients, and the general public.
• Physical capability to stand for extended periods and the ability to lift up to 25 lbs as needed.
• Must be comfortable working with professional-grade cleaning products and chemicals.
• Candidate must be 19 years of age or older and possess reliable personal transportation.
• Ability to pass a clear criminal background check as a condition of employment.
