About the Role

Credence is seeking a highly skilled Civil Engineer to join our team in supporting the Engineering Directorate (AFLCMC/EN-EZ). This critical role provides Advisory and Assistance Services (A&AS) to help the government augment its organic capabilities in the acquisition and support of war-winning mission capabilities. As a vital member of our engineering team, you will contribute to the modernization and sustainment of essential defense infrastructure, ensuring that our nation's military facilities are equipped to meet current and future workload requirements with precision and excellence.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop and meticulously review technical project documentation, including Statements of Work (SOW) and Performance Work Statements (PWS), to ensure alignment with mission objectives.
  • Prepare comprehensive engineering designs, detailed cost estimates, and complex project schedules to guide construction and renovation efforts.
  • Perform rigorous technical reviews of contractor submittals, Requests for Information (RFIs), and change requests to maintain project integrity and compliance.
  • Drive facility modernization by overseeing renovation and construction initiatives from the planning phase through to execution and completion.
  • Provide advanced technical analysis and engineering support to identify potential risks and implement effective mitigation strategies.
  • Participate actively in project meetings, design reviews, and on-site visits to ensure quality assurance and adherence to safety standards.
  • Foster collaborative relationships with government personnel, contractors, and multidisciplinary stakeholders to streamline project delivery and communications.
  • Assist in project management planning, monitoring progress against milestones, and ensuring all deliverables meet performance specifications.

Qualifications
  • Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or a closely related technical field from an accredited institution.
  • A minimum of 3 years of professional experience specifically related to civil engineering, infrastructure, or large-scale construction projects.
  • Must possess an active Secret security clearance.
  • Proven proficiency in engineering and project management software, including AutoCAD, Primavera, and RSMeans.
  • Exceptional analytical skills with the ability to interpret complex technical data and translate it into actionable project plans.
  • Strong communication skills, both written and verbal, with the ability to coordinate effectively with diverse teams in a defense environment.
  • Demonstrated ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced, mission-critical setting.
