About the Role

NeuLife Rehabilitation, Inc. is seeking a dynamic, strategic, and hands-on Chief Human Resources Officer (CHRO) to serve as a pivotal member of our Executive Leadership Team. Reporting directly to the Chief Executive Officer, this high-impact role is responsible for architecting a sophisticated human capital strategy that aligns with our aggressive growth trajectory. As a trusted advisor to the executive suite, you will balance high-level organizational design with the operational agility required to lead a multi-state service provider through complex expansions and post-acquisition integrations.

The ideal candidate is a visionary HR executive who thrives in fast-paced environments and possesses a deep mastery of mergers and acquisitions, workforce planning, and organizational development. This is a unique opportunity to shape the cultural and operational fabric of a mission-driven organization, ensuring that our talent strategy remains a competitive advantage as we scale our clinical and rehabilitation services across multiple states. If you are a transformational leader with a passion for excellence and a proven track record of scaling high-performing teams, we invite you to lead our people operations into the next phase of growth.

Key Responsibilities

Strategic Leadership & M&A Integration

  • Partner with the CEO and executive team to define and execute a comprehensive people strategy that supports long-term business objectives and operational scalability.
  • Lead all HR aspects of mergers and acquisitions, including comprehensive due diligence, risk assessment, and the cultural and operational integration of newly acquired entities.
  • Serve as a primary architect for organizational design, succession planning, and change management initiatives across all service lines.

Compliance & Employee Relations

  • Maintain rigorous oversight of federal, state, and local employment law compliance across a multi-state footprint, including wage and hour practices and leave administration.
  • Develop and implement standardized HR policies and procedures to ensure audit readiness and high levels of regulatory compliance.
  • Provide expert guidance on complex employee relations matters and foster a culture of accountability and professional excellence.

Talent Acquisition & Workforce Development

  • Design and deploy innovative recruiting strategies to attract top-tier clinical and operational leadership in a competitive healthcare market.
  • Establish robust retention programs and engagement initiatives to minimize turnover and enhance workforce stability.
  • Create and oversee leadership development programs to cultivate internal talent and prepare the organization for future expansion.

HR Operations & Technology

  • Provide executive oversight of HRIS platforms, ensuring data integrity and leveraging workforce analytics to drive evidence-based decision-making.
  • Supervise payroll administration and benefits strategy, partnering with brokers to deliver competitive, cost-effective health and welfare programs.
  • Monitor and report on key performance indicators (KPIs) related to turnover, engagement, and workforce productivity to the board and executive team.
Qualifications
  • Education: Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field is required; a Master’s degree (MBA/MHA) is highly preferred.
  • Experience: A minimum of 10 years of progressive HR leadership experience, with at least 5 years in a senior executive capacity (CHRO, VP, or equivalent).
  • Technical Expertise: Proven expertise in multi-state employment law and a successful track record of managing HR due diligence and post-merger integration.
  • Industry Knowledge: Prior experience in healthcare, behavioral health, or rehabilitation services is preferred.
  • Certifications: SPHR or SHRM-SCP certification is strongly desired.
  • Travel: Ability to travel 25% to 50% to various multi-state operational sites.
  • Skills: Exceptional business acumen, executive presence, and the ability to influence stakeholders at all levels of the organization.
Benefits

NeuLife Rehabilitation, Inc. offers a competitive executive compensation package designed to reward strategic impact and organizational success. As a key member of our leadership, you will enjoy:

  • Comprehensive health, dental, and vision insurance plans.
  • Generous Paid Time Off (PTO) and executive leave policies.
  • 401(k) retirement savings plan with company matching.
  • Professional development opportunities and support for continuing education.
