About the Role

CHRONA is seeking a strategic, highly proactive, and results-driven Chief Operating Officer (COO) to serve as the CEOs right hand and the core engine of our global strategy implementation. As a rapidly scaling international technology group operating in complex, regulated, and operationally intensive sectors, our primary focus is the US market. In this high-impact executive role, you will transition our high-level strategic vision into systematic day-to-day execution. You will lead distributed regional teams and champion our operational evolution from human-driven systems to a highly efficient, AI-augmented hybrid operations model.

This is not a traditional administrative or execution-only post; we are looking for a true strategic partner who constructively challenges ideas, blocks distractions, and confidently drives company-wide alignment. If you are an entrepreneurial leader with a passion for process maturity, change management, and building exceptional team cultures, we invite you to help steer CHRONA through our next phase of global growth.

Key Responsibilities
  • Strategy Execution & Alignment: Translate high-level strategic objectives from the CEO into clear, actionable operational priorities; implement tracking mechanisms, remove organizational bottlenecks, and build a culture of absolute accountability.
  • People, HR & Employer Brand: Develop and elevate our HR function into a strategic business partner. Oversee recruitment, onboarding, performance management, and retention, ensuring the company's real positioning matches our employer brand.
  • AI-Driven Operational Transformation: Shift operations to a hybrid model (human + AI) by identifying, embedding, and measuring AI tools within daily workflows, HR systems, knowledge management, and employee training.
  • Process Optimization & Efficiency: Streamline distributed processes to boost cost-efficiency, operational discipline, and transparency while avoiding unnecessary corporate bureaucracy.
  • Fostering a Learning Culture: Architect a robust system for continuous learning, leadership development, and knowledge sharing to systematically grow internal talent and expertise.

Qualifications
  • Proven Operational Leadership: 7+ years of experience in senior operational roles (e.g., COO, VP of Operations) within international technology groups of 500+ employees.
  • Scaling & Change Management: Demonstrated success scaling headcount and entering new markets, including leading 23 successful large-scale change management cases.
  • Diverse Functional Oversight: Experience managing HR functions (goal setting, KPIs), supervising legal/back-office operations (contracts, document workflows), and partnering with finance on opex budgeting and cost controls.
  • Automation & AI Literacy: Hands-on experience with business process automation (ERP, BPM systems) and a clear, practical understanding of embedding AI capabilities for cost and operational optimization.
  • Technical Team Collaboration: Proven ability to work productively with technical teams across software development, DevOps, and IT infrastructure.
  • Distributed Leadership & Communication: Excellent track record of managing highly distributed, multicultural teams with flawless professional business English.

Benefits
  • Fully Remote Flexibility: Enjoy the freedom to work from anywhere in the world within our distributed, digital-first organizational culture.
  • Strategic Autonomy: Act as a core executive partner with the mandate to shape business offerings, build high-performing teams, and drive structural innovation.
  • Generous Learning Budget: Dedicated resources and financial support to ensure continuous personal growth and professional development.
  • Competitive Compensation & Equity Options: Attractive base package aligned with your senior experience, supplemented by long-term equity potential.
  • Collaborative, High-Impact Work Environment: Join a forward-thinking, profitable fintech and tech company backed by top-tier resources.
