As a Mobile Developer at C4Media, your primary focus will be the execution and delivery of high-impact mobile features. You will be responsible for the entire lifecycle of a feature, from initial API integration and state management to the final rendering of a refined UI.

• Build and maintain complete mobile features using React Native, ensuring high performance across iOS and Android platforms.
• Manage complex data flows and asynchronous states by consuming REST APIs, implementing effective caching strategies, and handling error states gracefully.
• Collaborate closely with backend engineers and product managers to translate technical requirements into functional mobile solutions.
• Prioritize application stability by identifying and resolving edge cases, data flow inconsistencies, and performance bottlenecks.
• Maintain a clean and scalable codebase by participating in code reviews, refactoring legacy components, and managing technical debt.
• Handle the nuances of cross-platform development, ensuring that features behave consistently while respecting platform-specific design patterns.

We are looking for a pragmatic developer who takes pride in the stability and quality of the software they ship. The ideal candidate possesses a deep understanding of mobile ecosystems and a proven track record of delivering successful applications to production.

• Professional experience of 3–5 years in mobile application development with a focus on cross-platform frameworks.
• Strong expertise in React Native and high proficiency in TypeScript is essential.
• Deep experience with mobile state management libraries, specifically Redux, and async data handling.
• Proven ability to integrate and consume RESTful APIs while managing complex data synchronization and offline scenarios.
• Solid understanding of iOS and Android platform differences and mobile-specific performance considerations.
• A portfolio of shipped applications or concrete examples of feature work available in public repositories or as a professional showcase.
• Fluency in English is required, as all internal communication and documentation are conducted in English.
• Residency in Europe is mandatory to ensure appropriate time zone alignment for team collaboration.
• Availability to work as an independent contractor with a 4-hour overlap with our core global office hours (9 AM - 1 PM EST).
• Willingness to travel internationally 1–3 times per year for company meetings and software conferences.
