About the Role

HireHawk is seeking a meticulous and high-performing Business Immigration Paralegal based in Latin America to join our premier remote talent marketplace. This is a critical role designed for a legal professional who excels in a fast-paced environment, providing essential support to U.S. and Canadian law firms and corporate clients by managing the full lifecycle of employment-based immigration cases. As a key member of our global network, you will bridge the gap between complex legal requirements and seamless client delivery, ensuring that every petition is handled with the highest degree of accuracy and care. This position is ideal for a self-motivated professional who thrives on independence and is committed to maintaining the highest standards of legal drafting and client service.

Key Responsibilities

In this role, you will take full ownership of a high-volume caseload, encompassing a wide range of non-immigrant and immigrant matters. Your core responsibilities will include the independent preparation and filing of H-1B, L-1A/L-1B, TN, O-1, and E-3 petitions. Beyond standard filings, you will be responsible for the sophisticated drafting of support letters that clearly articulate legal arguments and eligibility, particularly for high-stakes O-1 and L-1A categories. You will also manage the technical complexities of the PERM labor certification process and prepare I-140 filings across various employment-based categories, including EB-1, EB-2, EB-3, and EB-2 National Interest Waivers (NIW).

A significant portion of your contribution will involve drafting detailed, evidence-based responses to Requests for Evidence (RFEs), Notices of Intent to Deny (NOIDs), and PERM audits. This requires an ability to organize complex exhibits and build cohesive narratives that withstand rigorous government scrutiny. Throughout the case lifecycle, you will maintain proactive communication with clients and stakeholders in professional English, providing status updates and flagging potential risks early to ensure continuous case momentum. We maintain a strict policy of human-authored work; all drafting and communication must be professionally polished without reliance on AI-generated messaging, ensuring a personalized and authentic experience for every client.

Qualifications
  • A minimum of 2 to 3 years of direct experience as a business immigration paralegal within a law firm or a high-volume corporate immigration environment.
  • Proven expertise in preparing and supporting filings for H-1B, L-1, TN, O-1, and E-3 non-immigrant visas.
  • Hands-on experience with the PERM labor certification process, I-140 immigrant petitions, and I-485 adjustment of status workflows.
  • Superior legal drafting skills, with the ability to produce persuasive support letters and comprehensive RFE/NOID responses independently.
  • Excellent written and verbal English communication skills, with the ability to convey complex legal concepts clearly to clients and stakeholders.
  • Exceptional organizational habits and the ability to manage a high-output caseload under tight deadlines with minimal supervision.
  • Full availability to work during U.S. Mountain Standard Time (MST) hours to ensure real-time collaboration with North American partners.
  • Prior experience supporting multiple attorneys or clients concurrently in a structured, metrics-driven environment is highly preferred.

Benefits

At HireHawk, we are committed to providing our contractors with a stable and rewarding environment. This position offers a competitive compensation package of USD $1,500 to $1,700 per month, delivered through a secure and reliable payment structure. You will benefit from a fully remote workplace, allowing you to build a career with leading North American firms from the comfort of your home. To support your lifestyle and financial well-being, we provide access to a premier perk marketplace valued at over $200,000, offering instant discounts on more than 150 services. Furthermore, our team members have the unique ability to access up to 50% of their approved earnings before payday without credit checks or fees. This role provides the perfect balance of professional challenge, long-term stability, and modern flexibility.
