About the Role

KnowledgeWorks, a proud member of the Wondercom Group, is a premier software house dedicated to transforming visionary client ideas into technological realities. We thrive on challenges, consistently pushing the boundaries of innovation to deliver high-impact solutions across a diverse range of industries. We are currently seeking a strategic and meticulous Business Analyst to join our team, specifically supporting a prominent client within the pharmaceutical sector. This is a 100% remote position that offers the opportunity to work at the forefront of digital transformation within a highly regulated and essential industry.

As a Business Analyst at KnowledgeWorks, you will serve as the vital link between stakeholders and technical teams. You will be responsible for ensuring that business objectives are translated into clear, actionable requirements while maintaining a focus on feasibility and optimization. This role requires a blend of analytical prowess, technical literacy, and exceptional communication skills to manage the complexities of the software development lifecycle within a pharmaceutical context. If you are passionate about process improvement and thrive in a collaborative, tech-driven environment, we invite you to explore this opportunity.

Key Responsibilities

In this role, you will manage the full requirements lifecycle, ensuring that every solution delivered meets the highest standards of quality and business alignment. Your daily activities will include:

  • Leading the elicitation, analysis, and comprehensive documentation of business requirements from diverse stakeholders, producing high-quality User Requirement Specifications (URS), Functional Requirement Specifications (FRS), and Solution Design Documents (SDD).
  • Conducting in-depth feasibility studies to evaluate proposed solutions and ensure they align with technical capabilities and business goals.
  • Designing innovative improvements and new configuration models to optimize existing systems and support evolving business needs.
  • Collaborating closely with Product Owners and Release Managers throughout the project lifecycle to ensure seamless delivery and alignment with the product roadmap.
  • Analyzing existing business processes to identify bottlenecks and proposing data-driven improvements or optimization strategies.
  • Driving change management initiatives by managing change requests, assessing potential impacts on the ecosystem, and providing detailed testing documentation.
  • Supporting rigorous testing activities, including writing and reviewing test cases, executing tests, tracking defects, and maintaining the regression testing repository.
  • Providing expert Level 3 support for complex incidents and service requests, ensuring timely resolution and knowledge transfer.

Qualifications

The ideal candidate possesses a unique combination of technical knowledge and business acumen, specifically within the framework of regulated environments. We are looking for:

  • A University Degree in Business Administration, Information Systems, Computer Science, or a closely related field.
  • Proven professional experience as a Business Analyst or in a similar strategic function, preferably within the technology or healthcare sectors.
  • Exceptional analytical and problem-solving capabilities, with a keen eye for detail and a structured approach to complex tasks.
  • Superior written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to translate technical jargon into clear, understandable language for non-technical stakeholders.
  • Demonstrated experience working within regulatory frameworks and a deep understanding of standard documentation practices (GxP knowledge is a plus).
  • Advanced proficiency in industry-standard business analysis tools, including Jira, Confluence, Microsoft Excel, and BPMN modeling tools.
  • Technical experience with Helix ALM and its associated interface technologies is highly preferred and will be considered a significant advantage.
  • The ability to work effectively in a 100% remote environment while maintaining a high level of productivity and collaboration during standard business hours (Monday to Friday, 9:00 AM 6:00 PM).

Benefits

At KnowledgeWorks, we believe in investing in our people and providing an environment where professional growth is inevitable. By joining our team, you will enjoy:

  • The opportunity to participate in high-visibility, high-complexity projects at the leading edge of technological advancement.
  • Access to the Wonder4You program, featuring a comprehensive suite of exclusive benefits and discounts tailored for Wondercom Group employees.
  • A dedicated focus on your professional development, including personalized training paths and access to an expansive library of over 5,000 online courses.
  • A supportive and inclusive culture that values innovation, autonomy, and the well-being of every team member.
  • The flexibility and work-life balance provided by a permanent 100% remote work arrangement.
