About the Role
The Rotaract Club of NIBM Kandy is searching for a dynamic and analytical Business Analyst to join our forward-thinking team. In this pivotal role, you will act as a bridge between organizational needs and technical solutions, leveraging data to drive strategic growth and operational efficiency. You will be responsible for evaluating complex business processes, identifying areas for optimization, and ensuring that our projects align with long-term institutional goals.
Key ResponsibilitiesAs a Business Analyst, your primary objective will be to transform raw data and stakeholder needs into comprehensive project blueprints. You will be expected to:
- Conduct thorough business needs assessments and translate them into clear, documented functional requirements.
- Perform in-depth research and process mapping to visualize current workflows and identify potential bottlenecks.
- Collaborate with cross-functional departments to ensure seamless project implementation and alignment with organizational objectives.
- Design and maintain interactive dashboards, reports, and presentations that provide management with a clear view of performance metrics.
- Analyze system and process gaps, proposing innovative solutions that enhance productivity and resource allocation.
- Facilitate stakeholder meetings to gather requirements, manage expectations, and provide regular project updates.
- Monitor and evaluate project outcomes to ensure delivered solutions meet the initial business requirements and quality standards.
- Utilize advanced data analysis tools to support evidence-based decision-making across the club’s various initiatives.
We are looking for a candidate who possesses a blend of technical expertise and strong interpersonal skills. The ideal applicant should meet the following criteria:
- Hold a Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Economics, Information Technology, or a closely related field.
- Possess 2 to 4 years of professional experience in business analysis, systems analysis, or a similar data-centric role.
- Demonstrate exceptional analytical and problem-solving abilities with a keen attention to detail.
- Show proficiency in requirement gathering techniques and professional documentation standards.
- Have hands-on experience with data visualization and analysis tools such as Microsoft Excel, SQL, Power BI, or Tableau.
- Exhibit excellent communication skills, with the ability to explain complex technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders.
- Maintain the ability to thrive in a fast-paced, remote environment while managing multiple high-priority tasks simultaneously.
- Preference will be given to candidates with knowledge of Agile/Scrum methodologies or experience with process improvement frameworks like Lean or Six Sigma.
