Key ResponsibilitiesAs a Buffer, you will be responsible for maintaining the physical standards and cleanliness of our sites. Your daily activities will involve specialized maintenance tasks that require precision and a commitment to health and safety standards. Key duties include:
- Executing professional floor maintenance and polishing routines to ensure all surfaces meet safety and aesthetic requirements.
- Operating and maintaining specialized buffering machinery and industrial cleaning equipment with care and technical proficiency.
- Adhering strictly to health and safety protocols, including COSHH regulations, to protect yourself, your colleagues, and our clients.
- Collaborating with the wider facilities team to ensure smooth service delivery across military establishments and government sites.
- Monitoring equipment performance and reporting any maintenance needs or potential hazards to management promptly.
- Representing ESS and Compass Group with a professional, friendly demeanor, providing excellent customer service to site residents and visitors.
